Achingly funny if you've been in those situations before. The fact that half the dialogue is in very fast french is meant to grate but the lines are very amusing. I love that Julie used her real father too. Some of the craziness like the racist cab driver, the lover's spat and the crazed fairy are all too fresh in my mind...loved it!

I thought this was a very good movie. Very entertaining, and had good acting. A little bit of a romanic comedy. It was pretty funny. Worth a watch.

Julie Delpy Did Another Great Job, Directing & Acting In This Really Funny Film, The Dialog Is Insane, The Family Crazy, A Great Watch!!

Julie Delpy writes & directs this movie. It kind of reminds you a little of the Sunrise & Sunset movies. Adam Goldberg is absolutely hilarious & the movie contains some of the funniest lines. There are so many jabs at cultures & countries & there's no scene that didn't make me laugh. The end was a bit sudden though. However, I watched this movie back to back, come to think about it - something I haven't done before.

a bit slow, actually really slow in the beginning parts of the movie. however, it sort of picks up, and for some reason, its one of those movies that makes itself work somehow. excellent.

An unpopular movie with the other reviewers here, but i really liked it, it reminded me of a Woody Allen movie. Very good little indie film. 7.5/10
