it was a good movie worth watching,i give it a 6/10

this movie failed... plotless & somewhat pointless

Not terrible. Not great. Fear & Loathing this is not, and neither is the book it's based on. Coming into it, one must remember not to make that comparison and take the film in on its own merits. Rest in peace, Hunter.

Interesting story, colorful characters which is typical of Thompson's writing. Depp is solid as the main character (as usual). Giovanni Ribisi was in rare form in this one as well. It is a Hunter S. Thompson adapted novel but don't go into it expecting Fear and Loathing. This was the first novel he wrote when he was 22 but was never published until 1998. That being said you can tell from the tone of the film and characters that Thompson's "voice" is there it's just milder and less cynical.

pretty good movie for johnny depp.quaility for the ufliq link was also pretty good considering its just release.cant complain little dark at times but overall it was in sync and watchable so feel free to check it out.

Definitely not the best Johnny Depp movie I've seen. Was expecting a bit more from a role that he chose. If I were to give it a rating I'd say 5/10, not entirely bad, but not great.

Decent movie Depp,Rispoli,Eckhart,& Ribisi were very good in their roles. They changed it from the original novel a great deal but I still found it enjoyable.

my kind of film! hunter s thompson was a crazy genius! johnny depp was fantastic and showed slight shades of raul duke i thought (especially with his narration and the way he spoke. Nowhere near as good as fear and loathing but 2 b fair its a different film all together. Giovanni ribisi was also brilliant and if it werent 4 depps performance he would have stole the show (loved the bit where hes sat there in a nazi hat!). Also listen carefully to some of ribisis and depps lines cos some of em r just so stupid and typically hunter s thompson. Loved it 10/10

The amazing fact here is that you actually believe hum how in the world would that work actually! when you star in a movie the producer will make you look over your acting (which requires you look at the scenes) and give you pointers how to make that scene allot better. 2 - How do you explain these actors going to their own open movie premieres if their not watching the film then what the hell or they doing their?

not a bad movie .. but it gets really boring .. not wort wasting your time here.

good movie, a simple story and ive not read any of Thompsons books (or watched Fear and Loathing lately) so cant really compare it, but thought it was done well. Only issue really was with the theme of political corruption and journalism seeming abit nostalgic in light of whats happened since then cause it has an upbeat ending which kindof clashes with rl today. 8/10

This was a kick ass movie and excellent in portraying the political unrest at the time as well as creating memorable characters. Great acting but nice side of eye candy with Depp and Heard.

Polluted drunks,spouting hate against other polluted drunks.uninteresting.hypocritical,only Puerto Rico is beautiful,nothing else.skip this,boring.but nice vacation area.

Mr Depp does it again another excellent film under his belt,Thoroughly enjoyed this film very easy to enjoy 9/10
