The Darjeeling Limited: Three American brothers who have not spoken to each other in a year set off on a train voyage across India with a plan to find themselves and bond with each other -- to become brothers again like they used to be. Their "spiritual quest", however, veers rapidly off-course (due to events involving over-the-counter pain killers, Indian cough syrup, and pepper spray), and they eventually find themselves stranded alone in the middle of the desert with eleven suitcases, a printer, and a laminating machine. At this moment, a new, unplanned journey suddenly begins. |

Well done. I like Anderson and this film was shot well; the cameo's were just icing on the cake. If you haven't seen Hotel Chevalier yet, though, take a minute to watch it before pushing play on Darjeeling, as it'll leave you less in the dark about the girlfriend they keep talking about (it's a short film and is the prequel to this one). And, since Hotel Chevalier is already on this site, since you get to see Natalie Portman naked, and since it's a film that's not even 10 minutes long, I don't think, it won't be a major hassle to watch right before this one. Great film, and gets an 8.5/10 from me.

I really like this film. I've watched it a few times. It's shot in an interesting way, and the characters are lovable oddballs. 3.5/5 :)

If it has Bill Murray in it, I will always give it a try and as per usual It was a good movie, had me laffin within the first 15 mints good acting, strange story, ok plot 4/5

Lovely film. Not quite sure of the moral (if there was one) but I liked it. The concept specifically and it seems to get funnier the more I look back on it. The cinematography was amazing and it's definitely worth a watch. Just don't go in expecting anything. 3.5/5

Im not a Wes Anderson fan, hated the Royal Tenebaums, but I really liked this film. Its really subtle and funny, if you have brothers yourself it makes it even funnier. Some really nice scenes in this film and I loved the dialouge.

somehow i really have trouble "feeling" wes andersons movies.this one as well as the others.. it's weird.. everything should be alright, amazing cast, a funny story idea, great camerawork but still at the end i am left unsatisfied. i hope one day this changes. or maybe i just don't get it ;) 3/5

if you watch the megavideo version, you can only watch 72 minutes at a time. that means at the very end about 5 minutes from credit the movie will stop and you have to wait 54 minutes or pay. crappy anti-climax. otherwise the movie is great and it is clear.

Don't know why Bill Murray was in this considering he had about 30 seconds of insignificant screentime. Where the fuck was Natalie Portman in this? Weird movie. I liked it but it wasn't really entertaining. 6.5/10

Like most of the films that Owen Wilson is in, totally shit, however strangely hypothesizing. Up until i stopped watching, around an hour in, Murry was on screen for about 3 seconds. SO if your expecting some 'Murry'.....

I was very surprised by how good this film was. I expected it to be boring, but my eyes were actually glued to the screen! I thought the plot was great, and the acting was very good as well. I loved everything about this movie! Highly, highly recommended!
