Pretty good zombie film..it had some of the blair witch elements like the camera and all,but still the make-up and acting was very good..recommended. 9/10

the screaming was not that bad ... i mean seriously lots of people if it was real would react even worse or the same exact way, not everyone can keep cold blood in such "trouble"! and the screaming was very realistic lol the movie was ok 3/5 but have to admit that the sreaming anoyed me because she made the monsters/zombies find her and the others, stupid woman pfff

It was a good movie, I'm a huge zombie fan. (Yes, I know they're not zombies but the same concept applies) The only thing that really pissed me off from the movie it's lack of realism. In real life, at least on my case, I would have let the girl hold the camera with the light and me and the fireman would have fought the infected. Also, I would have gotten the gun from the cop once he had turned. other than that I still say it was a 8/10.

This is a remake of an import movie called REC.It was picked up by an american company and remade.Both movies are so close to the same that when u watch em you think you seen it allready.Almost the same set/line and sequence of the movie.I saw REC first and liked it more since it was the original movie.Good movie 8/10,decent effects,easy to follow along.Kinda zombie movie in a building.definetly worth a one time watch.

this one is a USA version of REC... it was ok, but I rather the original, even though I hate the spaniard spanish!!! I rather the latin one!

what a disgusting re-make, Watch the original and put up with subtitles. Its a horror movie for christ's sake, do you need to know every sodding word?? If american audiences can't handle a subtitled film they shouldn't have the pleasure of watching it. usa studio garbage REC 1 & 2 if you want to get serious

Please Behave. This is a watered down version of a superb Spanish Horror. If you can't handle subtitles, get out of the Theatre. Pure USA Cheese. Rec 1 & 2 are head and shoulders above ANY recent "NO 1 Horror" from the states. Watch REC and learn about horror, then watch REC2 and learn about tension. Leave 3 well alone tho!!!

This was an utterly frightening film. Not in your common sense... it just had a perpetual sense of dread. It wasn't that great at sucking me in near the middle, but the beginning and end had me hooked. The acting is unbelievably phenomenal, and the effects are extremely believable. This movie was a fantastic representation of the power of found footage. Can't decide if REC was better than this... i think REC was better at sucking you in, but this movie had better suspension of disbelief and was more frightening. Awesome movie.

This was a waste of time, Watch the originals. This terrible remake has no soul in comparison and really didn't need to be made as it served no purpose. I managed to sit all the way through but wish I hadn't! If you can read English then watch Rec & Rec2 back to back with subtitles and you won't be disappointed as they are true modern horror classics! Quarantine is total shite 0/10

And for those of you who say its all rehashed, and over-done....why do you even watch zombie movies? Some people are quite content with seeing somebody elses idea on what a zombie movie should be. Atleast this movie didnt break zombie rules like a lot of movies are doing now. The best zombie movies are those that stay true to the idea of zombies and dont try to make their own rules like a bad song cover. Anyone who strives to make a good zombie movie should always structure it from the genious that was George Romero's Dawn of the Dead, and you cant go wrong. The idea of a group of strangers from different walks of life, forced to work together to defeat a common enemy is and always will be fascinating! Especially when that enemy is your boss, or someone else you hate, turned zed-head and you get the pleasure of really knowing what it would be like to kill him! That's the problem with a lot of zombie movies these days, they all try to come up with some elaborate story that's "fresh" "new" or "guaranteed to change the genre forever". When they need to stick to simple, yet effective ideas such as the never ending plethora of things on this earth that the true zombie fan looks at and says "that would be a badass zombie weapon!"

One of the best zombie movies I have ever seen. I say this with good reason... Put yourself in the shoes of, say, the girl, from an actors stand-point. That whole movie was made up of several very long takes. not your typical movie where they are expected to act a scene that is only seconds long, and then they patch it all together. now look at how well she pulled of dramatic sheer terror for her character. And it wasnt for 30-second clips. it was more like 5 and 10 minute clips that if she messed up at the end, she would have to do it ALL over again. It was more like watching a really awesome play. While you are watching people getting attacked on the third floor, the people on first are frantically scurrying to set the stage for when the people on third floor come back down. And sometimes that was a very small amount of time. That girl was probbaly just as tired and worn out after recording some of these scenes as an athlete. try screaming for as long as she did and not be exhausted.

Loved it. Another great performance from Jeniffer Carpenter. Her crying ability is wonderful in this movie. Great movie, definetly worth a watch.
