hmm, maybe 50 odds years ago this kind of animation had a context, but now it's so old there's really no correlative to the younger generations. Ok, I get his concerns about consumerism, and on that level, I enjoy the message. But Charlie Brown and all of his friends have intellectual conversations spoken through flat tones (similar to that of the earlier Mall Rats films). The animation is gritty and unimaginative in today's society and offers no cheer besides that of the reminiscent chord (refer to all comments below mine).
