I tried 3 times to watch this and I guess the third time really is the charm; I usually couldn't get past all the beginning crap in Afghanistan thinking it was gonna be one of THOSE movies, but I have to say after watching THOR and loving it and falling in love all over again with Gwenyth on GLEE, I came back and gave this another chance and was also fun to see Leslie Bibb (pretty blonde reporter who starred in "POPULAR" which was also by the creator of GLEE-it's like playing Kevin Bacon) it made watching this all the way thru much easier PLUS knowing to look out for Samuel Jackson after the credits was cool. 8/10

And Lightfoot, as well. That was another fantastic performance by Bridges ... so good, in fact, that it's been long rumored that Eastwood was jealous of the "scene stealing". Bridges is a very underrated actor, IMO.

One of the best movies ever. It's very interesting that it is in 5 acts. Most great movies, plays, etc. are presented in 5 acts ... the majority of Shakespeare's plays, for example, have a 5 act structure. It's odd that so few directors/producers/writers understand this simple fact, but this movie is a fabulous example of why they should.

I think the Director did a amazing job with this film.This is the film that established this whole Avenger thing build up.I was suprised to learn that he will not be back for Ironman 3. Ironman 2 , was just as good in my view.For example,The holograpic touch technology in Ironman 2 is an improvement. Hopefully, they will bring him back at some point. This film is Incredible.---4 out of 4 stars, very recommended.

greatness. i love the acting, is this really how Robert Downey is in real life? i mean, makes me think that this is really him which is great. the plot is awesome! i saw this one before in cable but i had dengue then and it just made me irritated but i guess watching this one in midnight just makes all the difference. there was lots of explosions and i love explosion! i am so looking forward to watching part 2 but that has to wait 'til friday or 'til i watch The Avengers, im gonna watch that one on the theater. :) the only thing that seemed offish for me is how iron man flies, it looks hecka gay. no offense to gay people though. i also love the romance with Pepper, theyre so cute! Gwyneth! yeah. and despite him being cold, yeah he also has a heart and i love the tones of loneliness despite the heavy with and sarcasm :) gonna give this a 9.5/10
