Shatner and Nimoy themselves didn't really like this one, and I tend to hear from the fans that it's their least favorite but it's definitely my favorite. 8/10

i think it's the best of the star trek films,it's pure sci-fi also, the beginning music of the Klingons fighting Veger was awesome

Yeah, I really don't remember seeing this first one...but they got alot better as time went on. This one was just a longer version of the TV show not really a movie. They could of maid this a made for TV movie instead lol. But I like Star Trek

Despite it being far too slow at times I found the sci-fi elements fascinating and it kept my interest up well enough.

A lot of people do not realize that Commander Decker in this movie is the son of Commodore Decker from the "Doomsday Machine" episode. Excellent!
