A pretty good horror/thriller for the 70's. It was actually rather emotional at times, and more of a drama than I expected. Good acting, and a decently original plot at the time. It was quite a bit different than the remake, both had their good and bad points. I can't decide which was better. Well worth seeing.

When I saw this as a youngster I was too young to be seeing it and it horrified me...going back now after seeing it I can see just how corny they made so much of it. But 40 yrs ago you grew up watching Leave it to Beaver and Little House on the Prairie believing it was real life. 7/10 for the "time" it was made.

this movie is so cool really cool story and each girl was hot but it didnt show all the murders i hate that y couldnt they show it would have been beter

Pretty good although raw and disturbing. Bad continuity; where did the suitcase of fresh clothes come from all of a sudden and why is she turning her head if she's meant to be dead? (the crew must have been out of it!)

I remember watching this movie in the theater back in '72 and it still holds up! 5/5

Classic. Much more realistic in terms of how they met up with these thugs. Luckily it was the 70's when the boundaries were being pushed. I like the remake too because of the added plotline for Justin at the end and the added plotline for Mary. Nice touch.

A brilliant movie,this is what horror's all about,i love the juxtaposition of the happy music against the sick brutality.This film broke every boundry of its time,9/10.

this is awesome and so is the remake... i love them both movies! Revenge is sweeter than life itself. So think fools.

This is an awsome movie! I thought the acting was great and I actually liked this version better than the other one. 4/5
