A solid thinking persons horror film.this film,5th in the Hammer Frankenstein series is one of the BEST frankenstein films ever made.Peter Cushing is in fine form as the demented baron whom can never seem to get any of his creations right,spoilers ahead---------------------------------------------------------------------------- and more than ever Cushings frankenstein is more evil than any of his creations as he blackmails,rapes,and murders his way across victorian london.Not for weak stomachs and not for frankenstein fans whom are expecting a lumbering monster.Frightnight scale 5/5.also stars Thorley Walters and the wonderful Freddy Jones as the baritone voiced ,intelligent,& sympathetic monster.They really don't make 'em like this anymore.Watch out for the busted water pipe sequence!spinetingling right up to the bloody end!
