10/10 cant beat it the new one is rubbish the vampire wasnt scary in the new one the origanal is the best i love the character evil.

Hey, that's Prince Humperdinck! XD I skipped this one in the 80s (slightly before my time, as I was 5 when this was released,) and I can't say I like it better than the remake. Both screen plays have their faults and holes, but I think they're fairly comparable. Colin Farrell is way better looking... just sayin!

just seen this for the frist time thought id watch it before i watched the remake yer pretty good asp the last 20 30min are awsome love that old schoool kind of horror effects!!8.5/10

I just recently saw this movie for the first time. The story was pretty decent; it held my attention. The acting was lame at times. Am I the only who dislikes the Evil Ed character? I found him to be more annoying than anything. Anyway, I'd rate this movie as being decent. 6/10

after seeing the remake i had to come back to this one and "cleanse" my eyes. lol i hate how the new one does Evil's character this movie is much much better
