Little Fish: In Sydney, Tracey Heart is a thirty-two years old manager of a video shop ex-addicted in heroin and clean for four years. She is trying to raise forty thousand dollars to buy a shop for computer games on the next door of the rental and become partner of her boss, but based on her negative records, the banks deny the loan. Tracey takes care of her junkie stepfather Lionel Dawson, unsuccessfully trying to make him quit his heroin habit. When her former boy-friend Jonny returns from Vancouver, Tracey's mother Janelle fears a fall of Tracey, while she blames Jonny for the car accident where her son Ray lost one leg. When Ray and Jonny associate to Moss, the assistant of the retired criminal boss Bradley 'The Jockey' Thompson, in drug dealing, Tracey is convinced by Jonny to join them and raise the necessary money for her business along the weekend. |

A pretty good movie, the acting was very good (obviously), love Cate Blanchett! It was decently entertaining. Worth a watch. 3.5/5.

What a great movie.It was kind of hard watch for me(as a former Heroin addict)as always when it is about"Junk" been off 7+yrs although taking Dilaudid for pain because of Spinal Surgeries.Anyways 7yrs and still gives me butterflies in my stomach watching it.Wow Hugo Weaving(Agent Smith from the Matrix)does a great job playing a real gritty Junkie just like a hundred guys and Gals I used to knew.He had to hang out with some Junkies as research for this because his playing it perfect.And Kate is just also Great.And please trust me on it the're very realistic I lived the"Life"22yrs on & off more on then off!!!The thing with Heroin is that if u have it u can live a normal life ppl can't even tell.For 50 bucks a day that's a half a gramm u live like a king.I had a real good job on the rigs making 2 grand a week 1400 take home and no one knew it not my ex wife or friends until i got caught and everyone will.Peace Good flick

I'd like to know who wrote that shitty review. The person needs some English lessons. Watch the movie at own risk, it's hard to manage all the messed up plot complications. 2/5
