Watch Hagane no renkinjutsushi: I haven't seen enough of the new series to have a strong opinion yet, but at first glance it seems not to have carried over the greatest strengths of the previous show.Doesn't seem to be as dark, soulful or emotional as the original series, focusing far more heavily on the child's anime elements from the original series.Granted the original series was a very odd mix of very goofy childlike things and extremely graphic, violent disturbing things.And of course they have a new director and that fantastic music from the original series hasn't carried over at all.As many know, the original anime was produced faster than the manga was written and they actually just began... |

the father is disgusting for turning her own daughter and mother into a chimera how sick. i felt angry and disgusted that is so sad and difficult to even think of. uh that to disgusting.

Pure genius, so much better than the original. An emotional roller coaster, I'm sad to see it end. I don't think I will ever find an anime as brilliant as this.

I've only ever seen the original series before; which I loved. When I watched the original it was the subbed version. The first episode I just watched of this series was dubbed, I really didn't enjoy the dubbing. Not a great deal happened in the first episode either, so it might take it a couple more to warm up. No doubt I will end up loving this series as well though.

why when they dub a film they have to cut out all the blood and good parts guess ill have to keep watching subs -almost a must see episode if i were to satsr rating them on must see to not so much must see would be a four ok so i will give this a 2

i am really starting to enjoy this series i would recommened it to anyone who likes naruto or dbz although it is lighter then those two series i mentioned it is worth a watch
