just saw this today at 10:15 in the morning, i'm not one for the midnight showings, even though i'm a twilight friek, i could wait 8 more hours. i thought this movie was gonna be good but not THAT GOOD!!!! i'm completely in LOVE with this movie, its DEFINITELY the best in the series so far!!!! kristen stewart(my goddess) is perfect in this movie, as expected, and rob has gotten better every movie. i really felt the chemistry between bella and edward in this one, which makes it more unbearable to wait for breaking dawn!!!! well, my favorite parts were definitely when jasper was training the cullens how to fight the newborns(that was awesomeness!!!) and when bella and edward leg-lock in the bed before he proposes to her(that part was sooooooo cute!!!!) overrall though, i was VERY SURPRISED at how PHENOMINAL this movie was, this is now my all-time FAVORITE movie!!!!! the ONLY thing that disappointed me in this movie was that they changed the character of Victoria, and i just think the other one in the first two movies was better for the part, but like i said, thats the ONLY thing.

I went to the Twilight Saga event where I sat and watched all 3 movies beginning at 6:30 and ending at 2:30 only to avoid the lines (even though I own all of the dvd's).
Believe it or not when I got there at 5:00 there was already a line starting for the midnight showing. So I was able to avoid the Miami heat and enjoy myself. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT. Security was tight to make sure people were not using their cell phones and taking photos.
Which I was glad about because it made the movie more enjoyable for all of us. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT. A+++++ Loved it and will go again this weekend to watch in I-max.

i love this movie and me and my brother stayed up all night just to find it and we where soo tired when we found it . it was a really good movie and i like edward soo cute :) and bella always looks pale right ? hope you like the movie :) bye

great movie cant wait till next getting better each time/i like the way the wolfs and vampires join a pact to eliminate the new comers ,with some jelousy in between most of the pictures are good on here so you will not be dissapointed so enjoy the film x

It was a good movie but in light of the media attention it disappointed me. The fight scenes could be better especially between two vampires. They put good emphasis on the wolves but that could be because they are all CGI. All in all its worth watching but still leaves a bit to be desired

Just watched this movie, and I have so many things wrong and right about it. I am one of these people who have read the book, yet hope that Bella will get eaten or something like that...like putting a twist in the movies. I am all for the emo..."I love you" but "he is so hot" kinda movie but this just gets alittle too...less of a vampire flick...and more into a baby-doll movie (don't get me wrong I liked it though.) I don't really like the idea of sparkly undead drinking blood, next thing you know Edward will rescuse Bella on my Little Pony while wearing a Hello Kitty shirt....but we all know that if that sparkly vampire did that...he would be with Jacob not the emo Bella. (@.@)
But I did expect more from the movie, with all the hype about it. However it DID not live up to its true "ability." But its a good movie, worth a watch. Maybe two or three. Not my exact cup of tea, but alittle treat if you want an escape from blood and gore and into the world of an emo girl and a guy who wears more body glitter than one gay guy should.

Eclipse has brought the Twilight Saga to a thrilling new level. The plot and action was perfect in this captivating continuation to the series. The only problem is that the deaths were a little to over the top for such a powerful addition to of the novel in the Twilght series.

I went to see eclipse in the cinema with my friend and i thought that it is probably one of or the best film i have seen this year.I love this film,the acting is fantastic and taylor lautner is so hot.I think that twilight eclipse is the best film out of saga by far.

I really enjoyed this movie. However, for die-hard Twilight readers, like myself, it is somewhat disappointing in some areas. The interaction between Jacob and Bella could have been better portrayed. Then again, what can you expect from a movie meant for tweens? I loved the fight scenes but the recast of Victoria was distracting to me and took away from the urgency of her return. I though Bryce was completely wrong for the part and lacked the "evil" quality that the novel intended Victoria to have.

I'm going to say what few other people here will be likely to say: this movie sucked big hairy werewolf balls. Unfortunately, trying to explain why would take up a lot more words than I've managed to cram in, so I can only focus on the main issues. For starters, Bella has become increasingly unlikeable since we saw her last, and as she's the central protagonist around whom all the ensuing events revolve, that's going to be a problem. Originally a great character in the first two films, her appeal here takes such a massive nosedive that, no joke, it actually becomes hard to fathom why exactly everybody around her is risking their lives for her safety. Her constant lack of consideration for certain people (particularly her long-suffering dad) is getting exceedingly grating. There were a number of moments in which I wanted to bite her neck myself just to shut her up. The scene (spoiler) in which she punches Jacob because he kissed her was the last straw for me - I hardly think that that warrants a punch considering that he can't help being in love with her, especially since, deep down, she loves him as well. The little trout deserved to get her hand sprained. But no, he still apologises, and not just for the kiss but for the fact that punching him sprained her hand. How predictable and how pathetic.

Bella's love affair with Edward - previously of the "I would die for you" calibre - is now peppered with so many inconsistencies that it's completely lost the few shreds of believability that it had. For example, as we've learned in movies 1 and 2, Bella is so in love with Edward that she's a) willing to overlook the fact that he's not human; b) willing to overlook the fact that he's killed people; and c) give her own life to save his as she did at the end of New Moon, but when he finally proposes marriage to her she's hesitant? And the reason? Well apparently because she's still young, being only 18. Funny, 'cause I would've thought that 18 is also a young age to contemplate relinquishing your mortality in favour of becoming a vampire for all eternity. But it's OK, because (another spoiler) she eventually accepts; and in doing so, says, "I will bind myself to you in every way humanly possible" - but when he addresses her as Mrs. Cullen she suddenly tells him that she wants to keep her own name? She'll sacrifice life and limb for him but not do THAT?

The cheesiness of this film was also a step up - everything is cheapened to the level of a corny soap opera. Hate to say it but they ALL deserve Razzis. CONSTANT long silences, hard stares, and stupid dialogue. My sister actually turned to me at one point during the movie and said, "Shades of Wuthering Heights" because everything about this plot is so exasperating. Why doesn't Edward stay mad at Bella after she kisses Jacob? They have ONE discussion about it (actually it's not even a discussion, just a series of comments) and then by the end of the movie they're happily reunited without a single cross word. I would think that kissing Jacob would put Edward's nose out of joint just a LITTLE, considering that she's supposed to be his reason for living and future bride!

You should also be prepared for the fact that, as is typical in most of these cases, they try to cram far too much into the storyline. Simplify, guys: if you're going to take a few minutes to explain Rosalie's backstory to us to give us some more insight as to why she is the way that she is, then leave James' backstory until the next movie. The need to stop every once in a while to explain another supporting character's history is exceedingly disruptive, and doesn't really bring anything integral to the plot anyway (for example I found that I still didn't give a rat's ass about Rosalie even after finding out what happened to her). It just makes it longer, more tedious, and prone to losing your attention.

Maybe I'm just not this movie's core demographic. It IS for tweenies after all. But there's another problem: considering that this film is supposed to be for tweenies, the violence is sometimes surprisingly full-on. There's a scene involving a decapitation which I won't go into the gruesome details of, but let's just say that it may just qualify as the "Holey s**t!" moment of the year. So the movie can't even make up its mind who exactly it's trying to please. The special effects are impressive of course, the visuals are creative and the direction is fine; but scratch beneath this glossy surface and there's just too much frustration at the hands of the script, the characters and their actions to make this movie tolerable to sit through. And, because the characters and their actions are the primary crux of this story, you never get a minute's peace.

Quite simply, I am so OVER Twilight man. I'm done. That's it. Up until this point I'd actually been quite enjoying the franchise, but the abomination of this third installment has soured my interest so much that...you know what? I'm going to go watch Little Ashes, because the sight of Robert Pattinson making out with a guy is just what I need to shoot dead anything that reminds me of this idiotic movie. Awful.

The movie started out too slow for me but then it picked up and the action was non stop. I'm not sure if vampires can procreate but if not, I think the perfect story line would be for her to sleep with Jake just once, get married to Edward but end up pregnant with Jake's child, and the child ofcourse ends up being a wolf like his father lol and a truce is forced between the vampires and the wolves. I'd give this movie a solid 8. Looking forward to the next one.

more or less same but it is a astonishingly slight improvement over this dull awful franchise. the only thing i hated about this movie and which bothered me alot was that everything is rushed towards one thing and one thing only, all you will see is leading up to one thing and one thing only, the final battle, that is the only thing that happens.

Kristen a bit opened up in this movie and otherwise everything is same.

David Slade who directed 30 days of night directed this movie giving it a bit better style than all of them rest. his direction was nice. this movie could have been better alot. its not very bad but below average. screenplay was flawed as usual. it was less boring and slow moving than others, plot was rushed up. special effects and fight scenes were slight better.

it is still same love story between a vampire and a human girl alongwith a werewolf, a still teen flick that you might like if you are a teenager. this is the best of the series but still not a good movie at all.

I can't say that I'm a vampire lover but this movie made me change my mind. It's great to see how the director sticked to the plot of the book and could portrait scenes millions of people had been waiting for. Great picture, effects, acting could be a little better for some actors though.
