Well, it is one of those movies that I cant tell whether it was really good, or really bad!...I did not like the ending though..

i watched this movie a long time ago when i was younger and even at that age i loved it...now im going to watch it again,about 7 or 8 years later...

Such a beautiful film, all the ingredients came well together to reach a tragic ending. The lead character is so pretty and acted well as Lila. Not to mention, the lead actor who played the role of Chimo was great as well. Against a backdrop of racial tension in modern France, this movie is sure to keep you spellbound.

This movie had me feeling mixed everywhere.. i almost fell in love with her but then had to remind myself this is a movie... but yeah it was amazing. i just couldn't believe the ending. Its true what someone said below you can't judge a book by its cover.. wow. But you know what i don't want to spoil it for anyone but when she finally went in his face and told him "you know what" if that was me... i would have stepped up right then and there. but... idk i guess every man is different. Great movie tho, adding this to my fav list. 10/10. a Must watch.

One of those movies thats more notable for its sense of style than anything else. Director Ziad Doueiri perfectly complements the films admittedly spare storyline with appropriately dreamy visuals, including a camera that seems to float through the films events. Worth a try.

This movie so beautiful in the beginning yet tragedy set in later on to realized there something much deeper than what it actually appear in the surface a butterfly fluttering about... but much pureness loved it rate it a 10/10...
