Pretty good movie :) Plot is decent, acting isn't bad, camera isn't bad either. A one time watch and you never know, might actually like it. 8/10

this was pretty cool, not something amazingly new but a good movie for your zombie fix. a couple of stupid moments like with the Amish guy for example but I liked how it tied in with survival of the dead. 8/10

It was ok but towards the end just got silly, some scenes were straight from a spoof movie. When will the zombie movie evolve and leave behind the stupidity? They always seem to be set in a world where books and movies about zombies are non existent. Everyone who has seen a zombie movie has thought to themselves "what would I do if..." for once lets see a movie where this is the case and people actually form a decent plan for survival instead of the classic dumb ass people who end up dieng in a stupid way.

this movie had so much potential but fell short horribly.. the begining where the zombies were frist introduced was porbably the best part of the movie because it looked so realistic. after the movie started to develope it got so inconvenient in parts and so talkative i couldnt stand it any longer... did michelle morgan (the lead actress) remind anyone else of eliza dushka?? but anyway ill give this movie a solid 2

Easily Romero's worst, and that's coming from who is quite likely his #1 fan. Barely hanging by a thread, a huge dissapointment.

what a waste of film really, and the actors!!! don't make me start, even a retarded zombie could act better. Stupid movie, cool title, the only cool thing was that they included governmental issues (which they do in every zombie or flue movie, so wow big surprise). One thing which doens't make sense is that the ppl who didn't got bitten by the dumb and slow zombies but died a "natural" death they turned into zombies as well, i mean what's that all about? whatever i didn't even finish the movie, so how would i know? THIS MOVIE STINKS ZOMBIE POO!!!!

I liked the movie until the point where the characters stopped making real decisions. Like everybody knows what you would do in a situation like this. & when the guy wasn't doing anything but filming what happened rather than running or helping made the movie worst than it could have turned out to be.*

"michael the arch angel"? really? well that should say it all for my spanish speaking friends trying to make sense of the disastrous attempt at subtitles on the version i watched (stagevu). but that not being my concern (lo siento mucho= i'm very sorry) this was not the worst zombie flick ever, for that check out big tits zombie. it wasn't that bad. if romero coulda dropped the social commentary for a sec and paid attention to what was being put on film coulda been better. still, three of the best head hits around, though, and thats gotta be worth something. this will get you through the night if you need a zombie fix. 7/10 cuz i like zombies. but check out "LA HORDE" for the french badassery of zombie movies. suffers from some bad french to english subs but worth the effort. also "gangs of the dead" and "undead" are cool(ish) if you ain't seen 'em and need said fix.

I remember after Day of the Dead,EVERY FAN wanted ROMERO to make twilight of the dead,so years later he made land of the dead and then started the cycle all over again with Diary of the dead.I liked this film and welcome any time George makes a DEAD film.there were several scenes that were done that were really well made,without giving them away to the ones who havent seen it,and lets not forget,Romero started the flesheating zombie Genre' He is still and always will be The King of zombie films...bring on Survival of the Dead ,george,i can't hardly wait!

This is a run along in George Romero's "Of the Dead" series. It was quite good, the camera style was tolerable and the acting was just fine. Don't expect golden Oscar awards. They don't focus on acting as much as they do on the plot and gore. The story was suitable for any Zombie fan. I enjoyed it for what it is. A Zombie movie. 3/5

I feel like this is a slap in the face of all zombie fans! And coming from Romero himself it hurts twice as much! Seriously, just skip this, it will only depress you and make you ask the question 'why?' 4/10 :(

"We can lock ourselves in the room and play Nintendo until it's over" is the most memorable line in this movie. It's an awful line, but memorable, nonetheless. Night of the Living dead was about the psychology and reaction of small town people to the zombie apocalypse. Day of the Dead was about the psychology and reaction of military and scientific people to the zombie apocalypse. Dawn of the Dead was about the psychology and reaction of survivalists to the zombie apocalypse. Here we have the dubious idea of a bunch of college kids and one glaringly out of place academic to the zombie apocalypse. The actors are like puppets, whose actions are controlled by Romero in order to make light of some vague point which Romero himself seems unable to make clear. The script is forced and disjointed. To me this is Romero's narcissism, self examination of id. This movie is for young people (ie, college kids) or Romero purists. The redeeming thing about this movie is that it asks a lot of questions. One wonders if they could have been asked in a more entertaining way.
