Bazinga! whatta load of Baloney- so john gets these "so called vision also gets to TALK to God" The ONLY prophet who spoke to God was Moses. I do not understand, have u ever played the game Chinese whisper? for those who havnt, try it, this is how its done: have a group of 20 to 50+ ppl siting in a circle and the 1st person will state a sentence which will be whispered around until it reaches back to him thru the guy sitting on his other side who hears it last, and it ALWAYS IS DIFFERENT FROM THE ORIGINAL STATEMENT. the bible was written in similar manner, PLUS the dark ages, the priests were corrupt and what could have kept them from NOT altering statements in the bible to uphold their own personal beneficial statement in the bible to keep their power secure? so we transcend to a book that has an old and a new testaments, THERE SHOULDN'T BE 100S OF BIBLES THERE SHOULD BE 1, LIKE THE MUSLIMS HAVE IT. No disrespect, i respect ALL RELIGIONS but U have to realize how the CHRISTIAN religion has been altered over 2000yrs of man made statements for their own benefit. Its "SOMETHING WORTH" Thinking about, is it not?

I am not a Christian, but the essential points - looking past divinity, looking past fear - ring truer and more poignant than any other philosophical doctrine devised. Whoever lives in love, lives in God. Yes, I believe that. The scourges of the world are greed, hunger, injustice and death. I don't want to believe in God, but if God exists and it holds true that all of us can see Heaven by warring against those things, then I will call myself a believer. I will call myself a Christian. I believe in the love Jesus had for all of us. I believe in the risen Christ. I believe that no matter how bad things get, with the faith of the Lord, we can make them better by feeding the hungry, giving justice to the wronged, shedding the light of charity on the cave of greed, and not fearing death because we die peacefully having done right in our mortal lives. These things endure past death, and so are immortal. And anyone that follows this path are immortal as well. This is the teaching of Jesus.
