I'm slightly amused at the LotR comparisons. DragonLance is one of the original Dungeons & Dragons Worlds and unfortunatly one of the first that kinda got lost when Advanced Dungeons & Dragons RPG came out and should never really be compared with LotR or any of the other more standardized D&D or AD&D settings since it had it's own and different concept, just as the setting GreyHawk did. BTW ... Tas's Race, the Kender, were always described as a youthful almost childish looking race a bit crossed between Elves & Gnomes(as a visual for those not familiar with the subject matter). *puts the 13-14 yo. Geek from decades ago back in the trunk*

-_- What's the point of putting the first one out to this, if they aren't going to put out part two? I want part two! give me part two! I loved the books as a kid, and finally finding this and know it has my beautiful Lucy Lawless as Goldmoon made it even better. You would think though since these are chronicles, they would at least continue them into the movies until they finish, like they did with Harry Potter and don't give me that crap,that these books aren't popular enough for that, because they are...

Great movie i really love the book always pictured tas as more of a lord of the rings golem look tho not a child lol

This was a great movie. Really good storyline. One of the best sword and sorcery animation movies out there.

I thought it had a great story with an interesting mix of 2D and 3D animation. Its too bad the second half of the story (movie) is missing though.
