It felt good watching this again. Seen it so much as a kid. Freddy honestly never scared me =P so used to horror movies. But over all, a great film. True classic. Gives you goosebumps, and makes you think twice before going to sleep 5/5

A terrific masterpeice by the one and only Wes Craven he delivers top of the range effects for its time with a good story and still keeps you on the edge of your seat in this day and age. I dont care for the remake i found that slow and boring but all the old nightmares are masterpeices. Brilliant performance by the amazing Robert Englund. 5/5

Robert Englund went from being good alien Willie on V to become one of the most iconic horror villains of all time-Freddy Krueger.

OK Loved the blood scenes , they were great and the killing too. But that stuff with mom in the bed and the disappearing was lame ( in my opinion ). By the way great song about him. Strange ending but still glad i saw it . It's classic. 3.5/5

I love these movies, its funny though as a child this movie scared the living daylight out of me, now I think it is kinda funny. But still a good classic never dies. 10/10. The remake to this I absolutely hated how they mangeled the story, it was a good movie, but nowhere as good as this one. Robert Englund is Freddy Krueger

I always loved the Nightmare on Elm Street movies...Freddy for me is the best...I know many will argue that fact when it comes to Mike Meyers or Jason but for me personally...Freddy is the best of the 3...again, thats MY PERSONAL OPINION..For all N.O.E.S. movies total..I would have to say 5/5

Such a classic horror film! Last great horror movie in my opinion. The chacater Freddy Krueger is in the same breath as Frankenstein, Dracula etc. He might have become abit of a joke as the series went on but god was he terrifying in the original. So menacing! 10/10

love this movie, i remembered watching it as a kid and getting nightmares! XD and damn, Johnny Depp looks so different now compared to how he looked like on this movie!
about an hour into the movie, i was wondering, she had all these tools to set booby traps yet she she can't get the door open??
This is my All-Time favourite film FREDDY KRUEGER! An Unstopable , Funny , Maniac who cannot be stopped hunting down the teens in they're sleep for revenge! What better for a horror flick! A truely remarkable performance from Robert Englund in all the Nightmare films, I hate the new freddy in the remake and for thoughs who saw people saying "They offered Robert a job in the new nightmare." Its a pure lie they are just fibbing cocksuckers, I speak to Roberts wife Nancy Englund all the time ask her yourself on RobertEnglund.com This film in my eyes the best horror ever made 10/10 5/5 I cant wait to get me replica freddy glove :P
