This was a really good movie. The romance was beautiful, and the costumes were really good.

Decent film but nothing like the reality of actual woman. What a shame for Victoria to be changed so much by the movie industry.

i love this movie...and then i watch all the documentary on it!!! and it was nothing like the movie.... !!! the real world version sucks!! Alot less on the romance!! :(

Excellent movie...I love period pieces and movies about historical events, past cultures and people though. I you like those type of movies, you love this movie :-). Enjoy!

These were the days! quite an incredible story and so interesting to see something of what its like to be a Monarch. Fine for a night in and the Mrs liked it so everyone's happy. Historical drama worth a watch. ***/*

1) I love Emily Blunt. No matter what she does, she does it so well. 2) Very beautifully done, very sweet love story within the confines of the royalty. We all want our own Prince Albert. :D 3) I'm becoming an Anglophile. Every really good movie or great actor leads to another really good movie with other great actors. I'm finding that Brits, The Irish, Aussies and New Zealanders almost have a lock on the acting world. British-made films and TV have spoiled me to the point that I don't think I can return to American, which is riddled with lazy, impatient writers a lot of the time.

I liked this film but for me it lacked some kind of spark. I felt it ran well as a lavishly filmed documentary but the script particularly was uninspiring. Given that, it's still worth a watch, 3/5.
