rubbish movie so boring ,stupid story 1/10

I'm in the middle of the positive and negative comments. This is a one time only watch for me. It is slow to start, due to character introductions and viewing the victims being lulled into a false sense of security, but it does pick up a little once it gets going. One problem is that it is predictable if you're into Horrors, though there are a couple of moments that may make some people jump. There are only three (main) potential victims (disregarding a random man), which can be a recipe for disaster because there's only so much that can be done. It might seem thrilling if you've not watched faster-paced Horrors/Thrillers. It does have one characteristic which most Horrors don't have these days (I can't say what this is without giving a spoiler, but it involves who survives). The acting was good enough. 4/10

This ones ok if you can handle the drag of the first 50 minutes after that it gets better.Not great but good acting n story line.I had to look this one up myself to find answers for this. Question: Is the movie Wolf Creek based on a true story? Answer: Yes and no. It was written as a completely fictional story. There are a few cases which are similar to the events depicted in Wolf Creek, but the writer/director did not know about them until AFTER he wrote the screenplay. When he learned about the real life cases, he edited the screenplay slightly so that it would resemble the real cases a bit more. So there u go i'll leave it for you to judge.I give it a 5/10 .

Love this film, I agree with those who say it has a slow start but for me that just adds to the build up of tension and malice that you know is coming.

I don't really like Australian movies much and I'm from Sydney lol

i didnt like this movie. the begining is really dragged out, and its one of those movies that your just yelling and telling the person what to do. lol id give it a 3/10.

really sick movie....... if you're paranoid, travelling alot and have issues trusting ppl you shouldn't watch this, cuz you'll def flip out, considering it being based on true events..... it was thrilling shot in a good horror moviesh way, and you got hooked, there wasn't anything dragged out, maybe the ending was so and so. It reminded me of The Hills have eyes, Texas chainsaw massacre and all other psycho road movies 9/10. Stranger Danger!!!

This is a good movie with lots of suspense. The acting was great very natural, and u get to see parts of Australian outback. Awesome. Watch it.

It was suggested that I view your comment and I must say WOW. I pondered whether to reply and decided that I would. You typed what I should and should not say, but all I can think is... "Who are you?". I did not tell people to believe it or not, however I did note that this movie is not 100% truth and is merely assumption/ and or a figment of one's imagination of the gruesome journey these three backpackers may have encountered. What makes this site more than interesting & one of my top faves is the fact that I can say whatever I wish. I did not address others as "idiots" as you put it, but perhaps you feel I insinuated such, to each their own. Everyone's opinions are just that, -their- opinions and in the end what "we" think will mostly sound as if -we- know better than the ANY members. I can tell from your comment that if I'd typed how great this film was you wouldn't have left such a comment telling me how my opinion should not attempt to "rule" over others who disliked the film. BTW why would you even bring up possibly being banned for leaving MY opinion? Absolutely ridiculous. I more than appreciate this site for what it does and even more what I enjoy is that people can leave their likes and dislikes about a film. I questioned why my comment stuck out to you more than others. I left my reasons for dislikes and it's just that. So many follow what other say and thus far I am of few who say this movie IS crap. What planet are some of you all from, lol. I remember renting this crap and after wards throwing the dvd so hard into the return bin I believe it probably cracked. Funny how people call EVERY and ANYTHING scary and suspenseful. As someone mention before BORINGGGGGG. No answers, entire made up story of a real account where not even the people involved know of what the other went through, they just made a film named after the darn highway. If someone finds this repetitive boring film to be horror then I suppose you think the care bears are terrifying. Gore is never a substitute for quality. - Stolee

It wasn't exactly secret over here, Milat's trial was big news for ages, and his nutcase shennanegans since being locked up - he's a constant self-mutilator, and keeps tryin to escape - perhaps even more amazing, he keeps trying to appeal! lol - everyone over here knew the film wasn't really about him, just inspired by.

Man, the inspiration, Ivan Milat, really isn't very much like this story - none of the characters or events are. It was just the general idea of a "backpacker killer" (which Ivan certainly was) - he's locked up now, so we'll see him when he gets out - perhaps he'll inspire a sequel? lol
