i love this movie but it was sooo sad at the end. 10/10 but i wish that they had ended up together tho. :(

alright,here is the thing: i was about to cry in the end but i was watching with my brother so i pretended to be entertained and i was like "hehe,that's it?hehe,poor jane" *gets out of the room* "omg,howcould you!*cries like a 5-year-old* 8/10 for sure

so sad! wonderful story though. reminds me of jane austen's movies - all done well

Simply one of the most beautiful and heart breaking period movies of all times. Jane was truly a woman of worth, maybe not financially, but in all matters that truly count. She shall always be one of my most favorite novelists. Anne Hathaway does the role credit, and James McAvoy as her one true love is superb in his role as well. And wonderful glimpses of perfectly beautiful English woodlands are magnificent as well. A perfectly scripted, directed, acted, and filmed movie. 10/10

Well made movie, great story. 4/5 this takes place just down the road from my house...cool to see the area on screen.

Oh and if you like James McAvoy xxx then you may like Atonement as well!

This is a really nice film, it is quite a happy ending but for some reason you feel like crying at the end because its just upsetting in some ways??!?!?!!! Very nice film i recommend it!
