Oh man I remember this series. I was really excited since I used to like the comic but I feel like they needed a higher budget to pull it off. Sad really since it really is a fantastic story and they could literally go anywhere with it. Id like to see a Darkness movie! :)

flashy camera work that didn't really cover the heroine's inability to fight, or a poor job with the choreography. Though if you can get past that, then it might turn out okay. The acting isn't the greatest, and the main actress' movements are clunky, over done, and not smooth in the slightest. I'm not sure why they chose her, anyone with some martial arts training, or dance experience, even gymnastics would likely be much more successful with piecing together a fight sequence; which, in all honesty, is quite frequent in witchblade. Hopefully it gets better, I do like the story.

This series had a believeable cast but lacked a sustainable level of mystery and intrigue. The plot unfolded too quickly with each new episode exhausting itself with special effects that weakened the storyline. Still, its enoyable.
