Had a "made for TV", or low budget feel to it, which usually I don't like at all, but in this films case I thought it made the movie perfect, and added a nice feel to it. Great performances from all the actors. Melissa Leo played her role perfectly! Simple plot, yet highly intriguing. My eyes were glued to the screen the entire time. I was mesmorized from beginning to end. It's a must watch!

Melissa Leo's character seems really hard to play, but she did it perfectly. This movie wouldn't mean that much to me if it wasn't for her.

Enjoyed the movie - it's very realistic and down-to-earth, portraying the reality of the hardships and poverty people face. The acting was pretty good too. Overall, I'd give it a 7/10.

Gritty and realistic look at the desperate lives of the very poor, disabled, and disenfranchised. Slow-paced but interesting, a unique snapshot. Something akin to Winter's Bone, with almost as good a screenplay and acting. I recommend this movie. 3.5/5 stars from me.

Fantastic movie, down to earth about the struggles of ordinary people trying to make ends meet.Great watch. 8/10

This movie had the "made for TV" feel to it, but lucky for me, I happen to like movies like that. :) It shows some of what people have to deal with, and the extremes they will go to survive. Well worth a watch.

That was a good watch, as they say! Little slow but a good story line.. I like it cause its differnt than the cookie cutter movies they make now...On a scale of 1-10 I give this one a 7 1/2 beacuse of the snow :) but really it is good, nothing pops out at you, just a good story..

This was a good movie. The end kinda made me mad. I like it mostly because it was more like real life than people who live in giant brick houses.
