Beautifully conceived and brilliantly acted. Tour de force performance by Ralph Fiennes in the role of a lifetime. Epic direction, acting, and cinematography. Fiennes should have won best actor by default. One of the best historical dramatic romances ever made.

Really great movie. The acting was wonderful and the storyline was very good. There were some boring parts, but it was really great. This is a must see!

Not my favorite Best Picture winning film, but still amazing! The acting was brilliant, and the story was great as well. I am very, very glad I watched this! 4.5/5.

just saw this movie today and im glad I did. I put off watching it for a long time because i thought it was going to be one of those boring historical time pieces butit was actually very very good.

one of the best movie out there deserves all the oscars and more. this is the film i fell in love with acting of fieness and watched all of hes films, he just goes under daniel day lewis as an acting talent i love. must see film all time classic

Should of never wasted my time. Boring nonsense. Good movies: Fireproof, A walk to remember, Johnny, the edge, to save a life.

A sad sad movie. I can understand why it won so many awards, the acting and cast were excellent... but it's undeniable that the movie is a bit slow and extremely sad. Even in the moments of "joy" you could still feel the heavy sad mood of the entire movie... I guess it was meant to be that way. This movie is not for everyone.
