People can be so closed minded...love is love. Its as simple as that! And if one finds it...it can be a beautiful thing and shouldnt be judged so harshly by others.

I absolutely love this movie. I remember first watching it years ago on Showcase when they used to show foreign films with usually some sort of gay undertone (fellow Canadians will know what I'm talking about lol) and just falling in love with the sweet yet tragic narrative and the underlying love and tenderness between the two boys. I always cry at the end with how beautiful the scene is; that sometimes all you need to forget all your conditioned bigotry and hatred is to be shown that love truely can exist in many forms and that all you need is to open your eyes to see that where love abounds your perceived notions of disgust really can be a beautiful thing.

I saw this movie when it first came out, and I still love it ! One of my all time faves!
