A great vintage matiné style Sci-Fi film, made for the whole family to enjoy. 4/5 stars. Well worth a watch.

After watching this movie over the years it has always made me wonder if the government actually used video games to test peoples hand eye coordination what whatever fiendish plot they have brewing in their scheming little minds. The movie itself has been one of my favorites since I was a kid. Good plot, cheesy alien costumes, some bad acting here and there (its the 80's, what do you expect?) but some great scenes that if remade today would look fabulous.

This movie was gotten rid of on TVShack.cc and YouTube and gets suddenly ended up by the original 1984 theatrical trailer. :( I HATE TRAILERS!!! >:(

- have to agree; never could understand why they never produced an arcade game to match this film. simply a fun sci fi film.

8/10 - at the time the computer graphics was out of this world - litteraly. Never did find an arcade machine that matched the game they played. Always wanted to be a starfigher after this.

I remember when this film was released, I read the book just prior to going to the theater to watch it. It was just like the book, cool experience. 10 on the fun meter :D

An absolute staple of 80's film culture. Anyone who grew up in and/or was/is a sci-fi fan accepts this as understood. Watched it more than my fair share of times as a kid, and I'm about to add another tally mark to that count!
