The story is unique. Being lost in time has a totally different meaning here. It's a very terrifying and creepy theory, but more believable than afterlife, angels, and ghosts... I like this movie, but not a big fan of the ending. It's needs an alternative ending, just like in I am Legend, where one ending has a message of hope and the other one is hopeless.

well, the story is really original, that is sure. yeah, king can write original stories if he wants. and they stuck pretty close to the book on this one. so, the acting…yeah, it was just baaaaaad, really freakin horrible (well the pilot and the crazy guy were ok, but i just hate the little girl!!!) the productions looks really cheap, but since the actual story doesn't need any special effects, it doesn't matter. so, after mentioning all those negative things, i still give this movie a 7/10, because the storyline is awesome!!!

When i saw this movie as a kid for some reason it scared the hell outta me...wached it agian and now its like...WTH was my problem...good story bad acting...7/10...is that the blue power ranger?.. 0.o

The story is really awesome, but all the acting (apart from the pilot) is totally crap. 9/10 for the story, 2/10 for the actuing, 6/10 for the movie as a whole. worth a one time watch if you can stand some horrible acting by half the cast

I was watching the Langoliers by Stephen King when it suddenly ended. I searched for Part 2, but couldn't find it. Can someone point me in the right direction?

good movie, based upon a Stephen King story, so you know its going to be a intriguing. Tale. And this was up to the end, where I believe the director could not figure out how to end the film, and just went for a cheap ploy

I always have ultimate respect for someone who can create something like this in their mind. Same as Tim Burton. What comes out of the mind is a powerful and expressive tool.....genius! 9/10

Based on the short story by Stephen King this movie tells the story of a group of passengers who wake up mid flight to find most of the passengers missing,the movie is pretty faithfull to the short story and is a must watch for sci/fi fans,8/10.

I watched this again and i thought they should do a remake of this because the special effect and apart from the pilot the British soldier and the little girl the acting was tame,A lot of Steven Kings movies would be good remade it, the shining, Carie to mention a few,but it's a risky business for example The remake of Nightmare on elm street cost $27 million to make and got $16 million in the box office.That is quite a big loss from someones pocket and the same risk someone would take if they remade these Steven King movies 3/5
