Classic, one of my favorite movies

i used to love playing the game for xbox which is based on the movie and this movie was well written. i feel like its just one of those movies where you wont get tired of seeing it. it definitely brings back some child hood memories. 10/5

I saw this movie when it first came out and, like everyone else, was blown away. Also had the great privilege of buying Mr. Beck a beer when he was in Dallas and thanked him for making this amazing film. Saw it once back in '79 and didn't see it again until today. It has lost none of its luster. The very definition of an iconic cult classic. 10/10

I was addicted to the game on ps2 and psp ...and I absolutely loved everything in the movie ..

One could say the same about the story that prefaces this story. " How can these two-stories be 'confused'." The filmmakers included the story of The Ten Thousand, so that people could see the common elements between the Warriors & the story of The Ten Thousand. BlackHawk down is a true story that has similar elements as well. For example: -Warriors --trapped in enemy territory. -Surrounded...having to fight off enemies on all sides. -Having to make a 'forced march'---to a safezone. ...and like the warrior's film preface says: " Its a story about courage. " Which is also the story about The Ten Thousand, Blackhawk down, and the Warriors. ---boiled down to it's essence.

HONESTLY THIS IS ONE OF THE GREATEST CLASSICS I'VE SEEN EVER, IT WAS VERY ORIGINAL. MY FAVORITES WERE THE TURN BULL AC's. 10/10

Watched it when I was 10 and thought NYC must have been a horrible place in the 70s and early 80s. A bunch of Gangs, one with their own Radio station, another a Professional sports team, some had Trains, an Amusement park and they even had a President of Gangs... I don't think my parents knew what I was watching. Cool movie from 1979.

I don't care for gang movies, but I like the fact that most of it takes place at night. It wasn't too bad.

Awesome movie, I remember watching this years ago. Who's the dipshit voting every positive comment about the movie as useless? 4.5 out of 5.

This movie never gets old such a classic I just hope they don't do a remake because it's one of them movies where it will do more harm than good.
