This is one to avoid at all costs, I turned it off half way through, why anyone can say this was a good movie is beyond me, terrible acting, story has been done a billion times, even the 'gay' vampire stuff. i didn't care much for the characters in this movie either, they are too stereotypical and i thought it was a piss take, I can understand why this was made as a low budget movie.

yes. and they're sadistic, for lack of a better definition. Not gory realism, but some weird and brutal staged "revenge" scenes.

I agree NELEEJ -Nope, not even remotely close, but there's a real guy working at the local Friendlies resteraunt here, that is so close, in build, skin tone, facial structure, voice, big brown eyes, shorter, compact stature, wide smile, same assured way of being, without being egocentric. He just laughed it off, like an inside joke, with the cook. I am shy, but couldn't help telling him (he may have heard it before) "Hey, (whatever the cook's name was), a customer says I look like Vin Diesel" They laughed, like maybe the cook had said the same thing, but he didn't believe him. He thanked me for the comment, with the same expressive eyes & voice, then kept working. This guy seemed to just take things in stride. He seemed to be a nice guy, in charge of his life, not at all presenting an ego, which I'm sure makes people like him all that much more. And, he was definitely NOT crass, rude, annoying, gay, loud, or "flamboyant" like this actor. He WAS fascinating to watch, like any other beautiful thing. He was gracious, and knew I wasn't hittng on him, just pointing out an observation. He didn't swear up a storm, like the real Vin Diesel. Which makes him more appealing in my book. Swearing is a big turn off for me. Anyway, so its a double plus to go out for ice cream around here. :)

Low Budget, very different storyline and very funny, if you like comedy and a little gore, this the movie for you well worth a watch 8-10

What can I say? I'm a sucker for cheese 'b' movie horror flicks. This really couldn't be called horror, but none the less it was funny. The story line could have gone in a whole different way and had it been a bigger budget film it might have, but that's what makes it a 'b' movie. I enjoyed it.

O.K. 1ST GLANCE I THOUGHT I WAS WATCHING A CHEAP GAY LOVE TRIANGLE WITH VAMPIRES THROWN IN TO THE MIX. I GAVE IT SOME TIME AND EVEN THOUGH IT'S NOT THE RUN OF THE MILL GORE FLICK, IT WAS ACTUALLY ENTERTAINING AND FUNNY ALTHOUGH I THOUGHT A LOT OF THE STORY WAS LEFT OUT. NOT BAD FOR A CHANGE IN THE GENRE. WORTH A WATCH. SOME DIE HARD VAMP FANS MIGHT LIKE IT I WAS ENTERTAINED. GIVE IT A SHOT. 6/10

Started off good. Yes, it had comedy and it was original. It had a lot of potential, but it pretty much went no where. The plot was basically thrown aside in place of scenes of watching this bratty fagboy walk around getting revenge and acting like a 10 yr old child.

Carmen and Josh characters were just too fun to watch. Rest of the cast was rather lame but Vamperifica is a decent vamp b flick.

good horror and funny too

I felt this film was original. I enjoyed the whole flamboyant vampire idea and was surprised during the moments in the film where the lead went from funny to creepy on the turn of a dime. I have a feeling we will be seeing more of Martin Yurkovic in the future. Funny, cute and exciting-4/5

I have been waiting for this since the trailers came out after the film festivals. A blood thirsty vampire king has been reincarnated as a talentless wannabe actor that happens to be a completely over the top, uberly gay, college student. "Bloody Fucking Ha". Can a story be anymore twisted and ironic? Hahaha Story was funny, acting over the top (bcz it was supposed to be). This was reminiscent of Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie from 92. It boils down to a story about true friendship. With a bigger budget it could have been awesome but Hollywood isn't quite ready to take that risk yet. Still they did a great job. Worth the watch keeping in mind (if you couldn't figure from the title and genre,...) it is a comedy 3.5-4/5

WOW, this movie is TERRIBLE! I kept watching, waiting for it to get better...never happened. I'd give it 1/2 a star just for trying but even thats being generous.

kind of stupid a gayish vampire.but it was watchable.

I am not impressed with this movie at all. The best part of the movie is the last 20 min.
