I thought I would be disappointed but I'm glad I was pleasantly surprised. A show that doesn't try too hard or use gimmicks to make you laugh, I think this one is a winner.

I thought there is some decent "lol" parts but for the most part if Sheen wasn't in it than this series is destine to fail.

It's mediocre, not great. It would be better if it wasn't shot like a typical generic sitcom with the canned laughter and the obvious sets. If it was filmed in a more personal way on location like the other cable-style smart comedies I think it would be a lot better. It just doesn't have that Charlie Sheen edge to it, it's FX for christ sakes! Go crazy!

Whilst retaining the bawdy humour we know Charlie best for from his previous role, his new character has a lot more depth and dare I say, lovability. As bad as cookie cutter canned laughter American sitcoms can sometimes be; Anger Management is genuinely funny and Charlie shines in this format.

I watched 2 1/2 a few times, but never got interested. This one, well, He's still playing a selfish, sex-oriented guy ... but the jokes are FUNNY.
