hehe what a good flick, watch it!!!

kinda reminds me of shawn of the dead. but this is hilarious. i speak, read and spanish so this movie was a great watch from cuba. love watching cuban movies. where all the actors are from cuba. i can differentiate the accents that let me know the different parts of cuba they are from(havana)will recomend this movie. 10/10

Entertaining Zombie Comedy, with good production values, interesting setting (Havana, Cuba) and genuine characters. That and the lead actor looks like John Turturo.

It's with english subtitles, not like Rec 3 -.-.. The movie is amazing, I thought it would be a shitty zombedy but it was pretty good! 9/10!

Finally a good, quality zombie movie. I'm going to watch this tomorrow :)!

Ha Ha! some very excellent zombie kiling scenes. Really enjoyed that and highly recomend if you like this genre.

Thoroughly enjoyed this one. Had some real laugh out loud moments. The subtitles are great, so-much-so you feel you lose nothing in translation - I find many subtitled movies lose a sense of wit or sarcasm when translated to English. The political undertones were cleverly approached too. 5/5 for the writers, cast and crew.

This was a very well done Zombie Flick. The Cuban "way of life" aspect of it was a hilarious backdrop. Not bad, Not bad at all.

Loved it cause it was finally a well done latino zombie flick...in all these zombie movies you never seen a lead brown dude, this was a good change i can't praise it enough. Wow! I am sooooo happy I got a chance to watch this movie. The directing , acting and F/X were very kewl and sometimes it felt like it wasn't a movie at all. Even though the ending leaves a lot to be desired for, any true horror/zombie fan will love this. The story line is very relate-able and the script, scenery and camera work crossed the language barrier, if there was any for the veiwer to begin with. I am so surprise that Hollywood has not made an english version of this film yet. I truly enjoyed Juan and his crew.

shawn of the dead...nope...juan of the dead...yep...cuba today with zombies...funny, creative, fast and rude puts this rock bottom budget film into it's own place in history and that's a good thing. 5/5

This movie had us chuckling. Very funny in places. In Spanish with Engrish subs but who cares? Definitely going to watch this one again and recommend it to mates. Hope we see more of these guys.

Not a bad film. Had some pretty funny parts, but I feel like it was either a hit or a miss. I also feel like they had wayyyyy to much political undertones to it. Actually it was pretty obvious that they were trying to make some sort comment about the Cuban society. But def not scary, Shaun of the Dead actually had scary parts, this not so much. I also really couldnt connect with the lead what so ever, I feel like thye should have cast someone different in the role. Still a good watch if your into horror comedy. A 6/10 for me.

Ive been recomended this movie so many times and had it compared to Shaun of the Dead but I just cant. It had a lot of great zombie kills, and was told from an interesting point of view but as a comedy I only laughed a few times. I give it a 7.5/10 I have a zombie playlist of my favorites so check it out for more, comment and you get bacon
