ya don;t waste ur time it's just another movie like 'fuk i'll never get that hour and a half back' movie

why is everyone bashing this movie? i taugh it was alright..worth a watch.. btw the sound quality was bad..

Visual quality is very good, audio is poor but that can be solved by turning up the sound, the film itself had a very promising first 30 mins, but faded after that, worth a one time watch, just did'nt have enough scares and lost its tension for me. 5/10

it was alright the video quality is good the sound is still a recording but whats bullshit is the dvd sound comes in during the credits

certain scenes were really good tho. Like that BEAR!!! omg. and i was scared a bit in other scenes as well.

saw this in the theater. "weird" is the best word to describe this movie. i wasn't, in any way, impressed with it.

The end was better than people give credit to. Kind of reminded me of Quarantine with a shaky camera in a pitch black room with only a torch. Not really my kind of film as it shows a lack of artistic ingenuity, anything can look scary in the dark. Uri was ace though.

Terrible I was so hyped for this movie, trailer looked amazing then BOOM complete trash bit hard to enjoy a movie if you cant see whats going on

It was just average no actually it was below average ... very cheap movie obviously as there was nothing in it except Chernobyl and 6 pathetic actors LOL ... oh and a load of disabled looking fuckers and dirty stray dogs who were chasing them around in the last 30 mins ... i sat through it all but now wish i didnt .. a definite 3/10

it appears all the horror movies you have been watching has effected your ability to type anything that anyone can comprehend. You should work on that if you wish for anyone to view you as an intelligent being.

I wonder if the filmmakers got the idea for this from Destination truth ? DT did an episode where they went to the same town - Pripyat. It was such a creepy place , and also very dangerous with all the radiation still in the atmopsphere

Not a bad horror film. I think the idea was fantastic but wasn't done nearly as well as it could have. If you liked "The Hills Have Eyes" its along the same lines.

Yes stupid characters such as these are what makes a horror film good. If it weren't for the completely retarded actions of the characters or there stupid and potentially fatal decisions Horror films would just have boring happy endings! With that said it's an ok movie 7/10 for thrilling.

I actually paid for this movie in the theater. I actually demanded my money back. It was that bad. If you're excited to see this movie, get rid of those feelings. If you thought it was good, I question your taste in movies. You barely saw anything happen and when you did, it was stupid. Don't waste your time.

Huh. That is all I can say after seeing this at the theater (yes, we paid real money). There were SO many chances for this to be a scary, sick film but they failed. I was dying to see this flick; a seriously-horrifying flick...finally! Unfortunately, there were too many "What?" moments that ruined any real terror. The acting was fantastic (director Peli excels in this area), but the shots that could have truly scared the breath out of you were lacking. You were so busy asking "What?" and "How....?" that you forgot to be truly scared. All of this being said, I am a huge horror-movie fan. I have seem them all. So there might be many of you who are actually scared and love this flick. I am comparing this to my high expectations---It is worth seeing for free, but I would avoid paying high ticket prices.

Ya know for a movie thats in the vein of "Found Footage", This has absolutely no regard for the viewers perspective. It really feels more half assed than anything else, jumping from perspective to perspective, and it leaves you wondering at times just who is filming this and why isn't it just a regular movie? Shaky cam really did nothing special for this flick, and it would have been a better effort to just film it like any other creature feature. Creatures you ask? Well, if you've seen wrong Turn or Hills have Eyes you have already seen much better mutants than this flick has to offer. Honestly you hardly get a glimpse of them, but what you do see is pretty unimpressive. Worth a one time watch but that's about it.

I went and saw this movie in the theatre, and i was highly upset by it... It was a waste of $7 dollars. 3 out of 10.

I thought this was great, good pacing. don't need a 25 million dollar monster to get creepy.

it was kind of dumb, i was expecting it to be much scarier, now i know why they make movies to where the super hero (or protagonist) always wins, because when the bad guy wins, the movie really sucks 4/10 horrible. The beginning was decent, then towards the middle it got good then the ending was just i cant explain it...

Meh... very slow, poor audio, and I only watched it after reading the entire play by play of what happens in the movie... which was more interesting than trying to watch the first time, or actually watching it. 2/10

It has a few scary parts. Some of the plot doesn't make much sense. 5/10

They are nasty those Russians, huh? heh, no seriously, i didn't expected anything from this, but i must say it surprised me in better way. The story is really nothing special, hell, the title says it all, right? The setup is good, and it has very good moments of tension. I like the ending :D its worth a watch ;) enjoy. PS: version 26 worked best for me.
