Among the few movies wit tis subject, tis is by far the best. It had a very spooky feel n i was interested 4rm the start 2 the end. Every1 showed very good acting especially Carice Van Hauten. Really hated her character as it should b. End was a little unsatisfying though.

He is perfect 4 it. He has the legendary hero kind of face.

Was just OK. As a fan of Game of Thrones I hoped it would be better. 6/10

Wow. Excellent movie, 9/10. Sets, costumes, all excellent. While personally I wouldn't classify this as horror at all, it is a wonderful period piece full of drama and mystery and some amazing acting backed with a solid script. A must watch.

i came across this movie by mistake tbh, but im sure glad i did. it was awesome. it had everything a good medival movie needs. battles, death, plague, blood, religion, love, revenge, determination, etc. it was a great adventure movie, even though it became slow at parts, it was a great story and kept me entertained till the end!! such a good flick, dont skip this one!

The movie is actually very good! Set in Britain during the Black Plague, Sean Bean plays Ulrich (similar to Boromir) who, along with several other knights and a young monk Eddie Redmayne search for a village where not only has the plague not touched, but a reputed witch can supposedly resurrect the dead. Well acted with a very recognizable and capable cast, the movie really has an excellent look and "feel" to it. The script works and the story is actually interesting for once. The ending might throw you off, but if you think about it, it does make sense. Recommended!!

Recently watched this. It's weird seeing the lead actor in another medieval type movie where he plays a similar role to his famously played Boromir in Lord of the Rings. I did enjoy this movie. 7/10. Not bad.
