this is completely Fuxked up. The American woman is the most discraceful i have ever seen. She spends the whole film looking as though shes about to smile and break down at the same time. She should kill herself, there is no way she should ever have a child. Trying to justify her job purveying girls to be exploited also admitting that she expects young girls to become prostitutes while modelling. Talking about her need to earn money when she appears to be doing well ruining families lives.

This Doc just reaffirms why I chose not to model when I was approached at 13.These predators such as Ashley,Tigran and Messiah know that these children come from poor families desperate and not business savy.Modeling is an ugly business and it was awful watching them take each girl and critique every body part in front of them. I also partly blame the parents because if my child told me they were not fed nor paid that would be the last trip they ever took with that Switch Agency whether poor or not. A follow up to this doc would be really nice to see if any of these pedophiles were actually charged with any crimes and if Nadya and Madlen are ok. Also of note why is the footage from 1999 if the movie was released in 2011?Seems like someone wanted this under wraps for a certain period of time .

OMFG! Honestly, I was really paying attention because of that annoying bitch Ashley. Her whole " Woe-is-me act" was soo annoying. She is trying to act like a victim ( Like many others have said ) When in fact she is the reason there are many victims! Simply sickening. Every time it cut to her I was filled with dread.But what annoyed me the most was the part when they showed her past recordings of her from 1999. It was then that I summarized that she just needs help....like psychiatric help because that lady is crazy! Now for Nadya I felt sorry for her as well as many other naive,foreign,or country girls that have been a victim of this. But, I kind of blame the parents. Who the hell in their right mind would allow their 13-year-old daughter ( or just any young daughter.) to go overseas when that dont know the fucking language of the place that they're going?!?!?! The hell? I understand that they may be desperate for money, but don't lose your logic or sense of judgement of whats right and whats wrong due to it. yet this one of the ugly parts of living in our world unfortunately. I just wish young girls in general would stop trying to aspire to be a model in that kind of "fashion" ( meaning in that type of circumstances where you be basically anorexic and gullible in order to get in.). And wish some parents would stop encouraging it as well because looking at those girls and how STICK skinny they were. Would you really want your daughter to view that as beauty? Ugh, anyways this documentary gets a 2.5/5 just because of that Ashley lady.

Worth a watch, especially if you're unaware of the exploitation of young girls in the modelling world. Beautifully edited juxtaposition of the model; then booker: Ashley.

This documentary is quite horrifying, even though we don't learn anything new in it. I felt very uncomfortable watching Ashley, who seems to be a sweet, gentle and understanding person, cynically and knowingly exploit 13-year-old children because she has a mortgage to pay and hell! that's not her fault, it is the industry's...

There are no good guys in this documentary. The only decent human beings are the girls themselves, and they are so young and inexperienced they simply don't know how to manage things. The guy back in Russia who claims to do so much for these girls is a total disgrace. He has to know the agencies are using them and not delivering on their promises. It's a real eye opener if you want to watch it. If you're bound and determined not to get PO'ed today, though, I'd skip it.

the moment i started wathcing this i got a very nasty gut feeling and the feeling grew stronger and eventually i came to the conclusion that i was right. The first thing i started wondering about is how this non producing scout was able to afford that house, and then i realized its a 2 way con, they first put the girls in debt to the agency and although noone would admit it on camera i sternly believe they are very soon forcefully or psychologicly pushed towards prostitution, because when they are so much in debt to the "agency" there is only one way that can repay the debt without passing it on to their parents. It disgusts me, these traffickers in naive girls under false pretences of a model carreer, however its a very old trick and partly i blame the parents for letting these girls go with obvious mobsters, but thats what poverty will do to a person. heartwrenching and very saddening i found this....
