I love this show. I can now swear so much better than my friends because of it. Beyond phenom creativity, words you wouldnt even dream to have strung together....its amazing.

This show reminds me of Parks and Rec but for HBO,which isn't a bad thing. I just feel like I watch two shows a week with the same premise. Either way Julia Louise back on tv's a good thing anyway we can get it..not that I watched Old Christine.

It was refreshing to see an elected official shown as being affected by the blow-back of their decisions. Not to say the soldier would not be affected down the road, but I'm sure that once back on his, uhm, errrrrr, *foot*, that he'd say it was his duty and honor to give to his country and the preservation of American Lives.

This show was a pleasant surprise. It's a very funny mix of slap-stick comedy with an intelligent dialogue. It's even good enough to be compared with British comedy - a bit like a hybrid of Yes Minister and Arrested Development. Edit: If you enjoy the format and dialogue of this show then you'll love the movie 'In the Loop', available on this site (avoid it if an Everest of profanity offends you).

Julia Louis-Dreyfus is absolutely hysterical in this role. This was one of the best episodes yet..... and that says a lot for such genius writing. Smart, intelligent humor that truly makes you laugh out loud.

the only thing british about this show is a scottish writer. it took an American crew and cast to make it great. :-)

Season 2 starts April 14, 2013.

This episode definitely took the funny to a higher level than the previous two did.

Looks good but does seem to be missing a Malcom Tucker character. Great to see Louis-Dreyfus, she's excellent as always. I must be shallow and mean :-(

thought I saw season two is coming back in April?...if not, it will be around then ;)...great show, hilarious stuff, can't remember, but season two is going to have a different spin on it?

Dear Lord, if that is what it's really like in government, then count me out. JLD is spot on as usual, but this is not LOL funny yet, it appears to be a very amusing intelligent series, which I'm sure will get better the longer it stays on air. I did love it when JLD's character lost it with her chief of staff (who's played by - would you believe it - Anna Chlumsky). From IMDb, it appears the Chlumsky is only in the pilot (but I don't know for sure), which is a real shame. 4/5

This is a very "smart" comedy that might fly right over the general public's head but I found it to be hilarious!!! The writing is quick witted and the acting is to par.. I can't wait for more episodes, I'm excited to see what they do with this show!!!

Very funny episode!

I've seen four episodes and even though I wasn't exactly taken by it in the first episode, I kept watching and it does grow on you. It's very fast dialogue and the characters are not really evolving, it's mostly the interaction between the characters in the political setting that makes it funny.

Selena Meyers is that one role that was tailor made for Julia Louis-Dreyfus. It's the role of her life. She is absolutely amazing on this show and the writing and supporting cast complement her perfectly!
