A good shot film if a little over-long. You could guess half way through what it was about. But even so well worth watching

I found the beginning slow, the middle good and I thought the end twist was well done. the movie was basically told from Sarah point of view. The little girl, the scary man, Sophia and everything else were all figments of her imagination as she suffered a psychological breakdown as a result of beginning to remember the abuse that she suffered as a child. Everything becomes clear to her when she finally confronts the memories and realised what happened to her. There really isn't a tidy way to tie up something like that, its not like she is going to skip off into the sunset is it.

Elisabeth Olsen's performance is really the best thing about this movie. The plot, although not original, is well thought out and it plays nicely and I didn't see the twist until at least half way into the movie. The way in which the movie is filmed, in real time with the camera entirely focusing on Sarah as if from her point of view definitely helps with the psychological suspense of the movie. However, i didn't feel particularly satisfied with this movie, I found the beginning dull and the characters quite two dimensional and because they had no real story I didn't care at all about them. I feel that it was a good plot with good acting but a poorly written story, if you know what I mean. But its still worth a watch if you like psychological horrors.

Not good at all. People said it was must've never seen a scary movie b4 because this wouldn't scare a 2 year old except for maybe the girl running around a dark house & screaming all the time, for nothing. So, if that sounds entertaining or scary, enjoy, otherwise do NOT waste your time, even if bored! Bad, Bad, Bad! -2/5 Gave up after 42 minutes, could'nt take it anymore.

It was like.. meh..

There are good movies and bad movies. THIS is the BEST BAD movie I have ever seen! If you are into boring or non-existent plots, with clueless characters, bad lighting, Blair Witch hysterical running and blurred dark scenes 97% of the time, this is a NO-MISS experience! With an obvious budget that doesn't exceed the limit of an Orchard Bank "starter" card, and a blonde "Actress" (and I use the term loosely so not to offend real actresses) that offends any blonde stereotype, this epic rambles on like a Bush State of the Union address with even LESS substance, and credibility! The subliminal innuendos of cross bred mongoloid justification might get the Author a pass, but nobody in their right mind would use this vehicle for anything but a guaranteed tax write-off! On a scale of 1 to ten I magnanimously give it a -10. BUT in all fairness; if you watched every episode of Murder she wrote and were ALWAYS surprised and thrilled with ending - This one is for you! Though I had relationships shorter and less painful to experience than this flick, it does have the sick addictive ability to make one look forward to the ending like a root canal done with pliers and no anesthetics,or staring at a train collision knowing what will happen and not being able to move. In comparison the credits were a welcome relief. I took notes so I would not accidentally run into anyone who had anything to do with this movie again! On a positive note: If you are on death row and have a final request. Ask to see this movie; it could extend your life for days psychologically and make you yearn for you own ending not dread it! ENJOY.....

It was ok to me

Well that's an hour of my life that I'm never getting back. Should've put the "twist" in the plot half way through - then it might've made a not terrible film - but they didn't. My advice, if you really must watch it, is watch the first 15 minutes then skip to the last 15. At least that way you'll only waste 30 minutes of your life.

I really liked the way it was filmed in one whole shot, good plot though 8/10

why do they make such bad "horror" movies nowadays.. like dream house, now this.

WHY,OH WHY,didnt i listen to the comments.... this movie was total crap.. i only lasted 52 mins,but i knew at this stage,admitting that i wasted 52 mins of my life was better than wasting another 40 finishing this movie out ....my opinion,,,,dont watch

This movie didn't do it for me, i found it quite boring and i'm a fan of scary films but i didn't get scared once. The acting was good though, but only good for one watch. 1/5 rating for me.

A reasonably creepy film. I enjoyed it somewhat, it's good enough for a couple watches. It had some really boring slumps, and i felt the movie was too short. But the acting was good, and the whole one-shot gimmick is mind blowing. They really pulled it off well and put it to good use in this movie. It has a couple good scares, and one scene will have you covering your face in sheer suspense, but other than that, it's just a pretty underwhelming movie overall.

This movie was stupid!
