This documentary is absolutely not surprising to me to see the rampant corruption of police in Australia. They are backing their own when they should, like us, let a trial wash out the truth. This is repeated again, and again, all over the globe. I will not be surprised to see civilians, and/or indigenous people, eventually forming their own "civilian police forces" to police the police. This is 2012 and we're are trying to have a civilization here!!!!

This is a riveting documentary, about the corruption of the justice system in Queensland (known as the deep north; a synonym phrase referring to the deep south in the US) and the initial decision made by the Queensland Director of Public Prosecutions (Leanne Clare) not to prosecute Chris Hurley; she's made other controversial and IMHO corrupt decisions too, see http://www.enotes.com/topic/Leanne_Clare.
