OMG!!! That woman was HUGE!!! Great documentary & 2 thumbs up 2 the husband. Only love could make a man stand by ur side in such a extreme situation,WOW! 4/5.

I feel so sorry for people like Mayra. To be married to an enabler is the worse thing an overweight person can do. Mayra's husband just kept stuffing her with junk food with no regard if she dies or not. Clearly we can see he's upset over her weight but still he wasn't man enough to stand up to her and say "no more junk food. Let's go on a diet together". I truly hope Mayra gets healthy and that her husband sees this as a second chance at a healthy life for both him and his wife.

This was so strange to watch, never saw a documentary of this kind ...really makes me appreciate my life and even appreciate my problems. This is truly a hard life, makes it more admirable the strength of this woman and even more the love of his husband.

Am I the only one jealous of this woman - she gets to spend all day in bed watching tv while her husband/servant feeds her burgers + cheesecake, washes her, cleans her house + pays the bills - i seriously need to gain 61 stone!

absolutely tragic. i watched the whole thing as if my top lips stinks. i dont have sympathy for her b/c of her eating habits. i bet in a few years, she'll gain back the weight. her husband is the cause n effect. jaime is a monster! they musta had a terrible upbringing. how am i gonna sleep now? *shudder*

The documentary is an interesting behind the scenes look at the newspaper headlines...gives both sides of the story.

Oh Dear Gawd!! What in the heck was that about? Really, was that for real? How in the world does one let that happen? What was this movie really about, Mayra or the boy? WOW!! That husband was so enabling her and I think he truly loved her, but wanted to keep her that way. Whatta Man!! Not a bad watch but WARNING: Do not eat while watching! 4/5 Just for the courage this lady showed, letting them video-tape her. ;) ;)

Kellyhelly: I would much rather look like the woman in the documentary than a flat chested, tacky dresser who is arrogant but can't spell or use correct punctuation. Your room is as tacky as your shirt. Why don't you go troll on a kiddie site like MySpace and leave the grownups here to make "USEFUL or CONSTRUCTIVE comments on the movies? Yeah,that's what this section is FOR..not skanky teenagers who want to start trouble.
