7 Nights of Darkness: In 2010 six reality television show contestants spent seven nights in an abandoned and haunted asylum. The show never aired but an editor for the network was able to piece together some footage. The prize for staying all seven nights was a share of one million dollars that was to be split amongst any contestants that didn't leave. No prize money was ever awarded. |

If you get past the fact that the audio was out of sync, it was okayish. Acting was cheesy, but it was still sort of enjoyable. Wouldn't watch it again. 5/10.

The acting wasn't really good. I guess, if you're bored, it's OK. But only a one time watch for me.

It was okay for a one time watch. Couple good jumps in it. I did like the fact the participants looked like normal every day people and there wasn't a bunch of gratuitous sex scenes. A bit of over acting on some of the actors parts. Another bad part is all the screaming at each other. Got on my nerves. Not everyone is going to like this movie but like I said it's ok for a one time watch.

The acting was terrible, plot was all over. However it was one of those that was that cheesey I enjoyed it. 4/5

Alot of talk and angst. Gets annoying after a few minutes of nothing much happening. 2/10.

I thought it was surprisingly good! Definitely give it an 8/10 it lost the 2 points because of the whole out of sync having to sync up two videos thing. Other than that minor hassle good thriller

I found this film to be one of the better "found footage" movies that I have ever seen (and I have seen just about all of them because I'm one of the few people who actually like them). I was impressed at how "real" the characters were. Their arguing was realistic and irritating, too! There were a few things that totally displeased me (only because I think most people have learned by watching horror movies what NOT to do by now... Example: Scream REALLY crazy loud so that you can let whatever is after you know exactly where you are located and/or how scared you really are, as well... Um, seriously?!?!), however the good outweighed the bad. So, I decided to place this hidden gem in my "A Mighty Good Show" AND "Who Woulda Thunk" playlists, plus give this movie 7 1/3 out of 9 lives. Some movies can pull off being a good show, even without the use of a ton of special affects and gore. This one, dear movie goers, is one of them, but that is just my opinionation. Check it out for yourself and see what you think. MEOW!!!

not a bad found footage flic...it aint no Grave Encounters, but it's worth a watch if you enjoy this type of thing..8/10

i thought this was a pretty good movie. some of the scenes i thought could have been better, but the way they make it seem "seamless" in some of the shots adds a good dose of reality. Overall i give it a 7.5 out of 10, I would definatly watch again with an unsuspecting partner. If you liked this movie i highly recommend "the Task"

I watched a movie last night that the audio was out of sync with, this one is doing the same thing. I couldn't even get a full 10 minutes into it before i had to stop watching. cant give a good review. So sorry(
