This is the jumping-off point for a disturbing, well-researched and beautifully made cri de coeur from husband and wife team Dereck and Beverly Joubert, award-winning filmmakers from Botswana who have been Explorers-in-Residence at National Geographic for more than four years. Pointing to poaching as a primary threat while noting the lion's pride of place on the list for eco-tourists-an industry that brings in 200 billion dollars... |

It is time for the peoples of Earth to unite under one banner and to find new worlds for us Humans to live on. By doing such an undertaking we can prevent the decimation of such great species of the lion and many other great animals of the kingdom of Earth.

This was a marvellous movie... as many of us see ourselves as lions, we still have much more to get before becoming one of these splendours of our planet.. Big applaud to the director and film makers for creating a story and being able to captivate us through an adventure. Trying to convince us about our faults. Great way to make us think ! A MUST SEE !!

Wow... this was truly amazing. I can watch any movie and enjoy it for the entertainment, but this, this is what you call a 5/5 movie. Real life, not made up or staged. I donated, please do your part and donate too. 450,000 to only 20,000 we have the power to stop this!

LoveD it . 5/5 for great video and audio quality. Prefect commentary and videography, loved every frame of work. This documentary is sheer inspirational and very catchy. I wish sometime(s) (/sooner) in my life I get lucky enough to go to African Jungles and watch all this live. *sigh* still a bucket list dream. I wish lions live forever, but wildlife govt got more to do on their 'to-do-list', other then just to enforce a law and sit in there offices, the whole world should collaborate and research something new about well being of Lions and thus protecting there existence, because at the rate on which these lions are getting extinct, its not far when our grand child or beyond wont be able to see these awesome kings of jungles, alive. Such shame on mankind makes me sad at times knowing what will happen. Thanks for uploading this brilliant documentary. A must watch. Cheerz!

Beautiful but very sad if you think about it and in some parts I was sobbing bless her soul!! So tough to be a lion and if you think about all the stuff she had to go through then that makes you think about your own life and how graetful you are! Awesome movie/Documentry watch!

I think this all the time. Considering how we humans can't even take care of this planet. Humans are beautiful in creative ways, and very sad in the way we can destroy ourselves and everything around us.

Omg that documentary was very interesting and moving. It makes you wish for a part two, but sadly you begin to realize that if these magnificent creatures disappear there will be no part two. This story is a one of sorrow that ignites strength, how we are all connected in one way or another. I drew similarities of my life to this film as well, our existence is a struggle but in the end its all about survival and if you have it in you to keep moving forwards. 10/10
