I found this movie watchable but a little bit slow to keep me entertained. I was interested in the mythical reference to numerology, particularily the number 1111 but it wound up taking a very religious, apocolyptic turn that the storyline and cinemtography couldn't carry off in my opinion.

The acting was mediocre but in no way bad, the piecing together of the mystery was a bit irregular and lost my interest several times though the ending did manage to tie up the loose ends rather well.

Over all I would say this was a decent movie if your patient and into this sort of thing

Synopsis/Plot:
A popular book author (Joseph) who has lost his family in a fire due to a diranged reader/fan, finds him self traveling to Barcelona where his father is dying / bed bound and his dissabled brother (Miquel) strugling with a bond between them selves over religious beliefs. Joseph slowly becomes obsessed with the meaning of 11:11 to the point he discovers its a warning of some sort and its a battle against time to work out its meaning, purpose and role Joseph must play in it.

Acting Skills:
Seemed to more potential than it showed in the movie, It didnt strike me as professional acting but neither did it appear as novice acting, some what in between

Movie Quality:
High Quality / HD and considering the movie has not hit theatres across the world yet, that is impressive.

Review:
First off this is a thriller not a horror, so for those expecting blood and guts, appreciate that thrillers are intended to thrill and scare through the power of thought rather than being blatant, I would compare this to Insidious

Whilst the storyline is totally different to Insidious the similarities on the method of "Thrilling" the audience are quite similar.

Spoiler:
Movie is about an author who lost his family as a result of a diranged fan who read his book setting fire to his home, resulting in a lack of sleep due to nightmares.
He meets this girl called Sadie, who becomes a friend to him, she seems to have read his books and taken a liking to him, after giving him a new book for him to write with, he drives off into a lorry, which caused a crash at 11:11

Without a scratch he survives and ends up receiving bad news that his father is taken ill and dying.
He flies out to barcelona, where his wheel chair bound brother Miquel is keen to make friends with him for bar family affairs and offers him a pen to write with

(Sadie has given him a book, and Miquel a pen to allow him to continue writting whilst leading up to 11-11-11)

With the realisation of 11:11 being the time on his broken watch worn in the car crash, the dates of the death of his mother and other events in his life he seeks to find answers of the meaning of 11:11 and find out if its coinsidence or more.

This slowly becomes an obsession, whilst having visions of deamons approaching the house.

Whilst at a church seminor a church attendant tries to take out miquel by pointing a gun both at Miquel and Joseph saying Miquel needs to be sacrificed in spanish, something only bilingual audiences will pick up on and Miquel & Anna (Anna who is a woman looking after the brothers father)

Anna is seing through-out the movie trying to warn Miquel that there deamons watching the house, whilst on first impression this seems Anna is on Josephs side seing the deamons he also sees, Miquel dismisses it which later everything becomes apparant.

But first Sadie who has travelled to Barcelona to be with Joseph and following this 11:11 theory comes over, whilst strolling in the park, Joseph comes face to face in a garden maze with the Church goes who previously threatened to kill his brother and runs off.

He goes to his home to find what seems to be a devil worshipping shop and gets shot by Javier (The Church goer with the gun)

On 11-11-11 and 10 minutes to 11 O'Clock, A wounded Joseph rushed to save his brother since he now believes his purpose is to save his brother from the deamons which will try to kill him.

We arrived at the home to find Javiers blood on the floor and Miquel holding the gun saying he just came at him.

11 O'Clock strikes and the deamons run riot in the house, taking Miquel from his wheel chair and outside for an execution.

Joseph intervienes as the Deamons strike the dagger at Miquel taking a hit for him.

Joseph collapses and the deamonds dissapear since the 11th Minute is seconds from ending (11:11:52 of the 11-11-11)

We then discover that Miquel is the anti-crist, he is the wolf in sheeps clothing or the Devil telling his greatest lie of them all, which was convincing the world he didnt excist.

That Sadie and Miquel, Anna, His publisher and Father where all in on it

Sadie is seing destroying the last bit of evidence which is on a camera previously owned by Javier.

Miquel is left to die as part of the sacrifice and left with a video diary done the day before in which Miquel stated his purpose was to save his brother from the deamons and is shared on a site where other 11-11 people congregate.

The book given to Joseph now contains all diary entries which Miquel intends on using as a "Show and Tell" to preach his "New Testiment" to the world, which comes easy since Joseph was a famous book author.

The film ends with Miquel about to start preaching in what seems to be "La Familia Sagrada" (Sacred Family) and pans across Anna, His Book Author and Sadie but no Joseph.

Just a video blog being narrated of him willing to save his brother at all costs

Bit confusing like the Army of the 12 monkeys you must watch the full film to get it at the end when everything comes together, but the lack of action makes it a slow paced movie, Coupled with the average acting skills and heavy religion background has made me rate this movie a 2/5

Whilst it may have been a 3/5 for my self, I dont see every one else finding it as entertaining and thus ends with a "Watchable" Rating but nothing more or amazing

Ok now I know why this film was up online before its release date! Its awful! I can tolerate a lot of bad movies but this one really was awful. Its started off OK, was an interesting concept for a scary film, I was hoping for something dark like Constantine/Rite, but the ending was such an epic disappointment and very very anti-climatic. The twist was ridiculous, really a let down, creating a twist for the sake of it is pointless if the end of the film leaves you scratching ur head. Will be slated by critics and definitely will be one of the rotten tomatoes of the year. Its a shame that film makers think that with a snappy title and release date, we are moranic enough to buy into this shit!

I looked at this film and it looked a little interesting even though i wasn't really all on board to watch it but it actually wasn't really too bad. I had a few eerie moments, a few jumpy ones and a few really really I don't know ones but it turned out to be pretty interesting ones and the story line kinda reminded me of Megido in some sense.

This is one of those films that you have to see for yourself to judge so don't just go on the comments.
