This film is now on my list of favourite films! it is a very clever a idea because currency is no longer a problem in life... Time is! This takes the saying ' I dont have the time ' Serious! Brilliant 9/10 must see! I dont understand how the critics dont rate higher.

Bit hard to do a review on this due to the complexity of the movie and trying to keep my review short enough not to bore the hell out of you.

Some one is out to change that by robing from the rich to give to the poor

Except its based in the future, there is no currency as we know it, its done via exchanging time and earning time, this is as we all have a biological clock which starts counting down from 1 yr at the age of 25.

It depicts how the richer get richer from increasing time inflation, keeping the poor, poor until they die from being unable to do lives every day things.

Which people can become immortal they still require food and can die from murder such as being shot, car crash etc

Flaws:

Time Banks
Shows as being made available for the rich but not so much for the poor, the poor can only seem to borrow time with high interest

One may argue there too poor to bank their precious time when they may need it, but in my eyes you can always bank a few seconds a day.

Technology:
Whilst cars are battery operated and time wrists and exchanges happen, I find it hard with all the sci-fi movies that have been around they had a payphone as their best means of communication those days

Take some examples from Minority report, Back to the future and other classics which had better simple every day use telephony systems.

Suicide:
Could of simply gambled his life away in new greenwhich tho you might say he wanted to give back to the poor as he was aware of the corruption.

Ending:
1 Million years would not of cripples the time economy, if you imagine giving 1 million years to a population of 1 million, its 1 year each, the planet has more than 1 million thus it would work out at a few seconds each.

The rest of the movie is flawless.

Loved the characters, and the meaning of the movie was very real for a sci-fi. also unpredictable at times and some great action scenes. Def worth a watch for anyone who likes sci-fi, action, or a love story. I would watch it again, makes you think about life and how important mortality is.

Rarely, do I want to watch a movie a second time let a lone over and over again like most people. However, this movie grabbed my attention from the very beginning. The thought of not aging after the age of 25, but everyone has the mindset of greed even though real "currency" isn't involved. I like the contrast the movie projects... the love of money in our real everyday life, and the love of age in our real everyday life, but no one says it because they have to age, there is no choice in the matter. The movie brings to life what some people really want, and that is youth. Also, I love the Bonnie & Clyde flavor.

Pretty entertaining movie. I give it 3/5, enjoyable for a one time watch. A somewhat harsh representation of the sociatal gap between rich and poor. Overall pretty well acted. Justin Timberlake gets better with every movie he does.
I do agree with those who have said alot more could have been done with this concept.

All around great movie. It definitely puts a twist and dramatic effect on the quote "Time is money" In this movie that quote is literally true. It is a very unique movie. I haven't seen another movie with the same concept. There's many messages that are portrayed throughout the movie. Some of the characters will say things that directly are messages. I love that about this movie. It is very direct and to the point. This movie in my opinion is all about the message. Do not expect this movie to be a romantic movie. It does have romance but it isn't exactly centered around it. The important thing is for you to see what this movie is trying to tell you. The movie has great actors so enjoy seeing them. Don't waste your time watching other movies, watch this one and you'll be good to go.

The story line is really interesting to me. In the way our economy is going I can actually foresee this in our future. Overall the action was limited (ie car chases, gun fights) but the suspense had me on the edge of my seat waiting to see what was next. This movie deserves a 4 out of 5.

A film that turns inside out your brain. Which effectively bumps down every single grain of sense that the world is so unjust and corrupt. One night when the world seemed admirably safe and beautiful, I saw in time. The next morning I woke up from a dream about the movie. It refuses to leave me. And I refuse to leave.

There are no more diseases. You will automatically be at least twenty-five, unless you suffer from something as dangerous as falling down a mountain or being shot dead. When you become twenty-five years starts a clock that is built into every man's arm ticking. It shows how much time you have left to live, which is initially one year but then quickly increase or decrease depending on what kind of life they lead. It is the time to keep up when you are going to buy lunch or pay bus fare. In other words, time is money. For real. Using simple logic, you can now figure out that the rich can live forever and the poor at risk of dying every single minute, every time the price goes up or goes down wages.

There is so much philosophy in the concept that it almost feels embarrassing to the film lies in the genre thriller. But it is clear that it is a thriller. The tension is at its peak and the turns are often quite rapid. Amanda Seyfried and Justin Timberlake are just as beautiful as always and play with exactly the same neatness. Seyfried plays a woman who grew up in a family that has everything in abundance, while Timberlake is a man who grew up in a ghetto with a constant struggle for everyday survival. They meet, shake each other's worlds and close together to fight for the goal of taking from those who have more than what should be reasonable and give to those who barely have anything. A wonderful Robin Hood story in the foundation with layers of philosophies on top.

In the not-too-distant future the aging gene has been switched off. To avoid overpopulation, time has become the currency and the way people pay for luxuries and necessities. The rich can live forever, while the rest try to negotiate for their immortality. A poor young man who comes into a fortune of time, though too late to help his mother from dying. He ends up on the run from a corrupt police force known as ‘time keepers’.
