Final Destination 5, lives up to its name! Although not any of the Final Destination movies are really final, this one seems to kind of bring the whole thing full circle. A group of friends survive a bridge collapse, and then in horror movie fashion, strange accidents seems to be picking them off one by one. The cast is great and even though this link is in another language, the thrills, excitement and killings translate perfectly for all to understand and enjoy. Tony Todd is an icon in this genre and his presence gives this film a horror stamp of approval. FD6 anyone?

I'm a big fan of the Final Destination Movies and I could not wait to see 5. I watched 5 with high expectations and I found the movie to be bit of a let down.It wasn't completely bad or anything but I do agree with others when they say they should have just stopped making them. This series to me was too good a series to have one this disappointing in it.The storyline is starting to get repetitive,rushed, the kill scenes were not as good as the first 4, and it just felt like the movie ended before going anywhere.Although I was happy to see this film i was glad i didn't actually pay to see it.Worth a one time watch if you like the Final Destination series but i don't think you'll be inclined to see it again.I think any true Final Destination fan would agree that 5 wasn't as good or intense as the first 4.

A much more intense start then the previous movies, slowly digressing towards the middle, but really keeping you watching with the horrific death scenes. There wasn't as many deaths but the few that were shown really made me cringe. The story was also interesting how they had to kill to survive, and then the end tied everything together and made the movie awesome.

I had low expectations when I entered the theater to see the 5th installment of the FD series, because the 4th movie was such a disappointment. But after watching it, I was surprised.

First off,this movie was way,( and I mean), way better then the last two movies were. It was darker and had a lot of elements from the first movie, which I loved. I don't want to give away too much, but I do want to say that the last scene of the movie will leave you speechless. It had me thinking, "OMG, that was AMAZING how they came up with that twist."

One last thing I loved about this movie was that it was well planned out and thought of, unlike the forth movie which was a joke and in my opinion, shouldn't have never been made. The deaths weren't rushed as opposed to the deaths in the forth movie, and it gave more screen time to introduce us to the characters.

Note: I will say that there is one death scene in the movie that I didn't see coming, besides the ending.

I recommend you see this movie. It might have the same theme as the first four movies, but unlike the first four, it's on a much higher scale.

very predictable,same as 1,2,3,4,different actors.half a head and sound was bad,mouths were moving and the words came out 2 seconds later,kind of knew what the ending was going be like,please no more final destinations,could have been a classic if left at two installments but it went into overkill.

I really liked this installment! i mean yeah, of course the deaths would be predictable but the story line really made up for it, and the visual effects were was better than the 4th one. this one was definitely a lot darker than most of the others and you can only compare it to the 1st one :) 10/10

Best movie out of all final destination when i started watching this movie at first i was ok i know how this goes and ends big shocker not expecting the ending overall 8 out of 10 stars great actors with great story line keep me on the edge of my sit the whole time bottom line worth watching

When hearing there was going to be a 5th I have to admit I was one of the people that didn't really care to see this movie. After watching it I'm a little happy I did. I follows the laws of the first 4 and the deaths are as always creative and bloody. The acting was so-so, but you are watching this movie to see the deaths by now. It was better then the 4th and it comes full circle with the whole series so I have to give it a 4/5.

It's ok I never saw this movie but I am willing to watch it.
when I watch movies it gives me a peace of mind and calm my nerves. I love to watch movies that have a lot of drama and excitement. Sometimes movies starts out playing like it will be boring but it can get very exciting as it plays on.

In Final Destination 5, Death is just as omnipresent as ever, and is unleashed after one man's premonition saves a group of coworkers from a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. But this group of unsuspecting souls was never supposed to survive, and, in a terrifying race against time, the ill-fated group frantically tries to discover a way to escape Death's sinister agenda.

Quality:
Bit poor quality at the moment, still in TS stage but was watchable non the less.

Storyline:
Poor, I have given it a rating of 2/5 (Watchable), since the movie is 1 of 5 repeats, its pretty much like Scream, you can only do the same story of "Death coming after you for cheating him" so many times.

Kinda left no other ways really to do this other than maybe a submarine failure a mountenering climbing gone wrong or finally winning the lottery competition of being shot out into space and things going wrong.

Either way the way the movie pans out afterwards would be the same, and I have to admit I turned the movie off partway through watching it as it just seemed to be pretty much a repeat until I was bored and watched the full movie

In which case the ending was probably the most interesting part. Again not to spoil it for those wanting to watch it but that was the only thing that made it jump from 1* to 2* movie

If you like the other 4 Final Destinations, you'll like this one too. Although, I thought the deaths in this one could have been more creative. I found that only the first death was the best...not because it was original in the cause of death but the gruesome way she actually died. I especially liked the way they tied the first movie with the this one. On a scale of 1-10, I'd give it a 7.5.

good, but not as gruesome as the others.realised that the movie ended with how the first one started.no one should have gotten of the plane,but because they did,we then had final destination 1, 2, 3 ,4 and finally 5..hopefully this is the last one. i cant see another coming out unless like saw collections, its gonna start to explain how they died and why the were chosen etc.

The whole series has been worth watching, but this wasnt spectacular.. If you LOVED the others, you'll LIKE this one. Some seemed a little predictable, but i guess you can only be so creaive with a storyline established over 5 movies. The ending was great, the rest, wachable and somewhat entertaining. Ending kind of makes up for it.

I must admit I enjoyed watching this movie. It was awesome and the ending of this movie was simply incredible. I was wondering through this entire film why they didn't do as the characters in the previous films and reach flight 180 or why someone hadn't mentioned that they remembered something like this happening before until you see the ending of the movie and you realize that you can't reach an event that has never occurred before.

So I guess this is the end of Final Destination. I loved. I enjoyed and I appreciated every single sequel in this trilogy!

I watched this movie in the cinema.
In my opinion final destinations movies always been the same story and the same ending.
But however it was a okay movie to watch, the cruel deaths.
How they died and how they tried to survive it was kind of interesting to know what happens the way they try to survive espiacilly this movie.
This was one of a kind of them all in my opinion, it was a little different because you always had a guy who is "evil".
in this movie you saw a good guy turn into a psychopath of being free of the Death with is impossible.

I'd say this is worth a watch for mainly for the 3d purposes on this edition of the franchise. This fifth installment comes with some interesting deaths and a few more laughs than usual. Also another new outlook on "Cheating" death after avoiding the disaster. Not forgetting an enjoyable twist at the end. 7/10

After watching this film expecting nothing but shame via the 4th movie (The final destination) I could only say one word. WELL DONE. I have loved this film from the start and by the 4th one i was very dissapointed but by the fifth one it has brought me back to it. I enjoyed it so much and gets you thinking about the other movies with a good twist at the end VERY GOOD MOVIE.

If this film was the only one from this franchise I would appreciate the concept, however the fact that this film has now outlived its welcome in this genre makes me disappointed that there wasn’t as much of a surprise as I was anticipating. Similar in concept as the saw films this prequel did have some good points, the deaths were a lot more inventive and the acting was marginally improved, the characters, which were still annoying, did seem to commit to their roles more than the dumb blonde’s portrayed in the latter films. The fact that number four was “The Final Destination” meant I was surprised to find they were making another however I have to admit these films are my guilty pleasures as a horror critic, the imagination which goes into the deaths could be collected in buckets. If this is the final film, as the ending is the beginning of the 1st, therefore it will be hard to make anymore, it will have finished on a high note. Not worthy of any more stars than I am giving it but a good one time watch. 2.5/5.

i have watched final destination from 1 to 5.. and it's perfect.. because it explained how the part 1 started from in the end of series 5..
I must say, that the FD5 was a good twist in the end. The plot was good, the acting was ok, not too great. The suspense was fantastic, no doubt especially the ending, with a lovely twist. So, over all, its a great movie, 9/10 in my opinion.
