Some teachers just don't give an F. For example, there's Elizabeth (Cameron Diaz). She's foul-mouthed, ruthless, and inappropriate. She drinks, she gets high, and she can't wait to marry her meal ticket and get out of her bogus day job. When she's dumped by her fiancé, she sets her plan in motion to win over a rich, handsome substitute (Justin Timberlake) - competing for his affections with an overly energetic colleague, Amy (Lucy Punch). When Elizabeth also finds herself fighting off the advances of a sarcastic, irreverent gym teacher (Jason Segel), the consequences of her wild and outrageous schemes give her students, her coworkers, and even herself an education like no other.

so its done, weekend is over and all the four movies i saw were bad or below average but this one was ans average movie. will this may not be the best R rated comedy you will see, its not bad either. if you have seen the trailers and stuff, the whole movie is based on the jokes that were shown in the entire trailer. yes but Cameron's character and the funny cat fights situations in the movie may keep you interested.

very few moments where i actually laughed but throughout the movie as i look back now wasn't very funny or laughable. i was surprised by the amount of strong language or nudity and crude humor has been shown, for what i thought it will be filled with many but it actually had less, very less. that is good right. i had a somewhat good time watching this movie. been entertained with this concept which i though could have been used a bit better.

Directed by Jake Kasdan, i liked how he kept the movie easy going and short. he did a nice job not good though. Screenplay has some flaws. written work of this movie could have been better. Edited badly. all the other stuff was okay. Cameron Diaz as a foul mouthed weird bad teacher was really nice, i liked her in this character. she could have done better. other actors like Justin Timberlake, Jason Segel, John Michael Higgins, Lucy Punch, Molly Shannon and others did an okay job. to be honest Cameron somehow sparks throughout the movie.

i liked the cat fights of Cameron and Lucy's characters, they both can't stand each other.

you might have a bit of a good time with it, Mildly Recommended.

The idea of Cameron Diaz being a gold digging, pot puffing, dry humping, blackmailing, BAD teacher was enough to keep wanting to see what she'd do next. Plenty of funny moments played by even funnier characters who had no problems making fun of themselves. Selling moment? CAR WASH SCENE.

I liked this movie. It was not much of a comedy as I only laughed twice (the guy's comment after finding out she helped the student by giving him her bra and when she invited her co-worker to lunch the following school year). The best parts of the movie was not the "romance" part but the tit-for-tat parts with her jealous co-worker. I'd give this movie a 7.5.

I was a little disappointed with this movie because I think I went into it expecting more and it failed to deliver. Cameron Diaz was hot and conniving but towards the end she begins to change her ways.

I had a laugh or two but found that it was not as good as a comedy. There was some lewd humor which I don't mind but for some reason it didn't seem to work in this movie at all. It is in my opinion one of those movies that you watch once when you have nothing else to watch and just want to pass some time away.

Take a lesson on how not to act in Bad Teacher, featuring Cameron Diaz as a very shallow and manipulative woman who in no way wants to be teaching "snot-nosed kids".


Elizabeth Halsey is as shallow as they come, and - as the title suggests - she proves to be pretty bad too. She is self-centered, immoral, shallow, and just plain mean. She is forced to continue her job as a teacher (because they are so easy to come by - does she have the education?) after her fiance kicks her out for being a blatant gold digger.

She soon finds herself back at school, teaching the seventh grade class she despises - well, that is, if you call putting in a DVD everyday and drinking behind the desk, teaching. But to her delight, she quickly meets substitute teacher Mr. Delacourt (Justin Timberlake), the rich heir of a watch-making empire.



She decides that in order to get into his good graces, she'll need to get breast implants. The surgery becomes her sole mission in life.



The film takes a bunch of different personalities and heightens them to their absolute peak. The characters are so extreme, you don't find yourself relating to, or even really liking, any of them

Diaz plays a character you will just want to shake your head at for being so completely out-of-touch, Timberlake plays a charming, but extremely naive substitute teacher who seems to have the life-experience of a 10 year old, and Jason Segel plays the gym teacher in his usual lovable-romantic "good guy" way.




Elizabeth's teacher-enemy Amy Squirrel (Lucy Punch), the complete opposite of Elizabeth's laid back style, is again a prototype of an a do-gooding ridiculously happy teacher. It's funny to see her lash out, while at the same time trying to keep her "teacher-face" in check, but it's all a bit too over the top
The movie is lighhearted and fun, but there isn't an ounce in it that can be taken seriously, almost to the point where you just want to role your eyes at the absurdity of it all.



If you're looking for a fun film that doesn't require much thought or energy, Bad Teacher is a great choice -- you will be entertained by Diaz and her insufferable crazy antics

Going in i thought it would just be another funny movie. But I was blown away it was hilarious, and thier was some really good acting. Timberlake surprised me, Diaz and Segal made a good team. Well written, very good performances and all around funny flick. It was the funniest movie i've seen in a while.

This was a crazy movie and let me first start by saying good job to the cast.

Cameron was a complete mess as a teacher but great at giving advice. I mean she did weed, get wasted, tried to sleep with er co-worker (Justin) because his family had money, she couldn't keep that divorce story straight, rip off the students carwash money and cheated on the JAMS exams to win the prize money just to get her Tits done! OMG!

I wouldn't even talk about Justin he was a complete weirdo in this movie and him and Ms Squirell completely deserved each other and how awkward was that dry hump scene?! It was almost as awful as that song he wrote!

I loved this movie and would watch it again!

The best bit about the film was Diaz's acting, and the nutty teacher across the hall although I felt she was trying too hard at times.

The Story line was understandably but not great. there were a few bits that you could snigger at but not a Diaz classic. It is not a film that you would not want to see again.

Yes, it is not quite realistic, but it is funny.
I laughed my ass off. It kept my attention, which is more than I can say about other movies I have watched.
If you like this one, here are 3 movies I've watched and really liked too: Bad Teacher, Horrible Bosses and Bridesmaids.
This and the other movies will make you laugh out loud.

Quality:
Poor, whilst a lot to all links may have DVD quality and sound, it took me 4 attempts to download a version that wasnt out of sync half way through the movie, this in its self spoilt it for me.

Storyline:
Enjoyed the movie, rating would be either Watchable or Ok (2/5 or 3/5), taking out the fact the storyline got damaged from out of sync downloads the story didnt seem to have much purpose.

Whilst its one of these lessons (or movies) in which the adult realises the path in life they choose wasnt the best one and how they need to change to become happy / not damage others around them.

Other than this which is a brief moment in the whole entire movie, there doesnt seem to be a purpose to the storyline.

Bad girl splits a couple up
Breaks rules
Totaly vain and lazy
A kids rejection makes her see shes just like the girl who rejected the teenager.
Bad girl ends up settling for the guy she ignored and used to make the guy she wanted jelouse.

Acting:
Not the best cast for the movie, Good old Cameron Diaz is getting on a little now and her age is starting to show, a lack of continuaty happens in the movie where cameron diazs bright red lipstick is on one minute then off the next

Justine Timberlake:
Not his best performance, preffered him in Friends with Benefits

Lucy Punch:
I think her acting was pretty good, if she is meant to be the annoying grass who is some what doolaley

For this reason I have settled with 2 (Watchable)

I basically proclaim this to be the worst comedy film of the year. If it is not for Cameron Diaz her ridiculous performance then it should be for the presence of Justin Timberlake, who has really proven that he should stick to singing. Was this film supposed to be funny? There were points where I felt crying to be a more appropriate response. Crap crap crap.

Jason Segal and Cameron Diaz do a ok job at trying to be charismatic with each other, but it just wasn't meant to be. The overall ending wasn't awful but as far as having a couple Hollywood stars in it, I would say that they had a hit and miss here!

But for all her desk-stashed booze and inappropriately tight skirts, the movie offers Diaz a pretty bland badness. She plays Elizabeth Halsey, a teacher desperate to land a rich husband and quit her job; having decided that a fresh pair of breasts would help with that, she embarks on a series of petty moneymaking schemes to buy implants….Having decided not to risk offending us, [the film] could at least work a little harder to earn our affection.

n spite of a promising concept and a great performance from Cameron Diaz, Bad Teacher is never as funny as it should be.The movie fails to give you any interest in the plot. so it ends up feeling unfinished and not properly constructed. At the end of the day this movie is a comedy big on cheap laughs, short on depth,more time and thought should have been put into this movie and maybe it would've been a more enjoyable movie. 2/5

Elizabeth Halsey leaves her teaching position in a middle school to marry the "love of her life" only to find out it's over. With no money and no job, she goes back to the school and resumses her laid back, fed up attitude. Cameron Diaz is HILARIOUS in the role of Elizabeth. Who knew she was so funny? Another mention has to go to Phyllis Smith who is hysterical as the socially awkward teacher, Lynn Davies. Highly reccomended movie!

I've never liked Cameron Diaz very much, but i decided to watch this movie hoping it would be funny. I like Jason Segel from How I Met Your Mother, Forgetting Sarah Marshall, and I Love You Man. I kind of wish he was in more of this movie because it probably would have made it better. I've never liked Lucy Punch only because she'so weird and creepy in all her movies that i've seen.

There was probably 3 scenes in this movie i laughed out loud at, and they still weren't even that funny. I thought Phyllis Smith's character (Lynn Davis) was pretty funny. I thought Justin Timberlakes character was dumb, and the scene in the bedroom was the dumbest thing ever

I just thought they probably could have done better with this movie. It was probably one of my least favorite movies of the year that i have seen. i thought the Hangover II was better and that movie kind of blows.

It was Ok.. I totally expected more from the movie, as the trailer had most of the funny parts in there. It wasn't 'LOL' funny but Cameron Diaz did put on a great performance.

I think what got people to watch it is Diaz's looks, ya she was beautiful in the movie I agree. This definitely wasn't one of her best movies, the story line was pretty good but not at all genius. A movie I wouldn't want to see again.
