this installment of the series is good for the prequel i see lots of comments saying theyre confused about whats going on. All holes can be filled if u rewatch 1&2 and pay attention to the background story of the sisters. If u like this series i urge u to watch Paranormal activity 2: Tokyo nights

All the good stuff in the trailers were not in the movie! WTF? The trailers were the most misleading I had ever seen for any movie ever! I'll probably see the 4th one just to finish the series but after being burned by the completely POS third one, I'm a little leery...

7/10 The novelty of home video type horror movies fades away but I will still take this and the first two P.A. over many gore/slash horror movies I've seen. It's not really like it could be better, it's the end of the line for this series I think. They will make more but they won't get better.

I found this movie quite boring. Out of all three, I enjoyed the first one. I desperately hope that they do not make a Paranormal Activity 4. If you want to watch Paranormal, watch Paranormal Entity...not that movie gave me the shivers !

I really like all the paranormal activity movies, you have to watch it in the dark! I love and hate being scared at that same time lol (fingers over the eyes but still watching lol).

yes parts missing from the trailer, but there was in the cinemaqs too...anyway its just as bad as the other 2 P.As so if they bored you this will too.4/10

Complete waste of time and energy. I completely agree with most of comments here. Nothing was shown in the trailer as was in the movie, the story didn't make sense, nothing fit in except of what the previous owners of the house did and the ending needed a major boost. 1/10

I liked this one better than the others. Instead of loud noises like the last one, this one uses little kids (the sisters from the previous ones as little girls). I can't give anything away, but we see why it is they're messed with later in life. I recommend sitting close to the screen, because of how dark the movie is. This will help you see the small details that actually make this a good movie. I liked bits and pieces of part 1 and hated part 2, so I was surprised that I actually really liked part 3, however I can see why some wouldn't like it. For me, I'd give it a 7/10

saw this in the theaters but im thinking i want to watch it again . nthn was scary and it was more funny than anything . i didnt see anything from the trailer in the movie tho .

all 3 movies have had me like that, i can't say its the scariest film ive watched but it certainly had a big impact lol.

I agree with ajohnson every since the 1st one came out most of the parts that were in the trailer were not in the movie at all. I went to see part 1&2 at the movies and it was missing some stuff. I don't know why they do that but yeah.

I honestly have to say that was the worst one yet, an I couldnt believe how they ended it. I mean really, Im mad I wasted my time but thank god I didnt actually go to the movies to see it because if I'd paid to see it Id be pist..lol

I'm a bit disappointed at the end. Don't get me wrong as I was totally uncomfortable in every position watching this movie cause I was anticipating something to jump out and scare me at any given moment. I guess as usual, I was expecting more, but like the previous films, the activity was limited to little teaser bursts. I don't like that the characters in this series are always kinda dumb and reject almost every basic intelligent human response to such things. Somehow turning a blind eye to the blatantly obvious is the most common reaction when dealing with matters that they cant comprehend. I dunno, maybe they didn't review the more recent tapes, maybe they were still in denial and conveniently ignore the subject, maybe they were just scared stupid. All I know is that I was plenty scared through out this movie and some of it wasn't even cause of any ghost. *Smacks the babysitter*

kinda slow. Wish they wouldve given more info in the end bout the girls. Not a bad ending tho, pretty tense. 7/10

This is the type of film you go to see at the movies. i just came back from watching it and i loved it....with the big screen and the surround sound it really made the movie real...all i know is that i was screaming during this creepy m0vie and the people around me were also. (8/10) loved it

It's funny, I see a lot of people saying that this movie is stupid because it does not explain anything. I really don't see why there would be an explanation of paranormal activity, that that is exactly what it is. UNEXPLAINANBLE. This movie is a more refined and sophisticated, not to mention realistic way of scaring its audience. I will explain as much as possible without spoiling it. The movie is a MOCKUMENTARY
