A good balance of courtroom drama and gory action - great acting from Alex McArthur. 4.5/5

Enjoyable law & Order drama with somewhat overheated courtroom scenes substituting for real dramatic affect. The film asks the question:"what do we do with the monster who slaughters his victims and uses an insanity defense to escape the death penalty?" and leaves us with the conjecture that perhaps a death penalty is appropriate whether sane or insane. I'm still for endless jail time rather than state murder...3/5.
