Watch The Killing: In Seattle, Det. Sarah Linden is on what is supposed to be her last day on the job. She and her son Jack are supposed to leave that evening to join her fiancé in Sonoma. Her replacement, Det. Stephen Holder, is ready to take over but they answer a call from a patrol car who have found a bloodied sweater in a field. When the missing girl, Rosie Larsen, is found in the trunk of a car at the bottom of a lake it turns out the car is registered to the campaign committee for councilman Darren Richmond, who is running for mayor. Linden delays her departure for what she hopes will be only a few days. |

I finished watching the original, Danish show. Season 2, from 2009, is even better than the first season. However, Americans changed a lot, so the show is not identical. The killers are not the same people...which is great, because I can still watch this one not knowing who the killer is.

Totally loved the Danish version of this and am enjoying this version to. Glad they've kept to the original, with the strong characters, moody cinematography, intrigue and more.

It took that long to show him as a suspect? The escort girl described him at the end of the last season in the motel with Holder, only one person fit her description. Hope it changes as that will be a terrible ending to a so far brilliant show.

its called The killing. not the KillingS plural. her face is the cover. the entire series, might, be about this killing. id be fine with that. it be like a twin peaks sorta thing... anyways, i knew he was shady all along... i liked the end, and i didnt find it boring. but im very frustrated with these american TV series' that go off on hiatus, and dont start again until nearly a whole year has passed. hopefully this wont be like that.

This show is top draw - the acting, dialogue and storytelling is excellent and is one of best shows ive seen in a long long time - does anyone know if this show goes beyond one series or do they catch the killer by the end of series one???

I was beyond disappointed at the ending (if they can call it that). They left it open to continue the same tired ass story over to next season...Finish the story and start on a new case!!

Yeh my bad guys i watched the danish version which only aired on 22nd January 2011 in the UK but it was called The Killing.
