this movie was nothing like i expected it to be. i was very disappointed. the way the movie is filmed you would think this movie was made 20 years ago. the story line is pitiful. wasted my time watching this one for sure,just kept thinking maybe it would get better,it didnt.

Well lets see were to start. It was just not what I expected at all. It had potential, Great cast, great director, but it just fell flat, and never got back up. Anthony Hopkins of course, made the best of his part, and was the best part of the movie. Although I'm a big fan of Benicio Del Toro, his best work has been to date, The Usual Suspects. 2 out of 5

Weak plot, TERRIBLE acting, cheesy effects, LAME characters, made you wish the actors would all die, so the movie would END. HAPPY I did'nt PAY to suffer through it in a theatre. Hollywood is going to CRAP, is there "anyone" with an original idea left? ARGH.........."painful"......-10 stars.

You don't have to be a psychology major to figure out that it's not just about Lycanthropy. There is a beast in every man. The beast in man hates his father for killing (ie: having sex with) his mother. His father kills his wife for threatening to leave with his first son. His first son threatens to leave with his girlfriend whose resemblance to his wife is picture perfect. After his first son dies, the father's beast infects his second son. The second son vows to the girlfriend to find the killer of his brother, and kill him. The second son soon realizes that it is the father's sickness that has infected him, and that he must kill his father. The beastly son wanders through the palatial mansion that is in disrepair since anything good has been turned into evil. Both the beastly father and son lust after the girlfriend. In the final battle, the son kills his father by casting him into the fire, and severing his head. The girlfriend flees to the place where she first felt love for the son, and is followed by the beast. The beast recognizes the feminine, and is released from his suffering.

I didn't expect this to be that great, but was very surprised by it. The action wasn't over the top, but well done... as was the special effects when he transformed. The plot was of course predictable and the story just about the same as always, but all in all I enjoyed the movie and would watch it again.

Some remakes just doesn't work, this is the case for the Wolfman. Is boring, predictable, is just not what i was expecting for actors like Benicio Del Toro and Anthony Hopkins, please surprise me a little bit, this was a lame intent of have the success of the Twilight Saga.

The performances in the movie were absolutely fantastic. Benicio Del Toro, Anthony Hopkins, Hugo Weaving, and Emily Blunt all delivered and really brought their characters to life. It's always good to have great performances in a horror/action film. Everything seems genuine and all of the characters are very engaging. The set pieces and cinematography are all beautifully created. There's a lot of eye candy in this film just as far as the sets are concerned, and I really love the atmosphere this film created. The music is also pretty unique and memorable. I rarely comment on the score of a film, but this one really had some great music. Some other things that impressed me were the action sequences and the 'kills'. The action sequences are pretty exciting and they'll keep you at the edge of your seat. Just when you think it's safe... something crazy happens and mayhem ensues. The 'kills' are also pretty awesome. The werewolf in this film is pretty insane, so expect to see a lot of blood, gore, and human body parts flying around all over the place. The violence, along with the dark atmosphere, really gave a suspenseful experience. Overall, The Wolfman is a fun horror/action film. The acting is great, the sets and visuals are awesome, and the action sequences are pretty cool. There are also some pretty nice kills in this one for all of you blood/gore fans. While the film can be fun, the plot suffers from the film's inconsistent pacing, which eventually leaves some plot holes. Trust me, the trailer makes this flick seem a lot cooler than it actually is. Just eat your popcorn and leave your mind at home...it's just brainless fun. it was ofcourse visually appealing but the movie itself was not that great. could have been much better. i don't have any problem with the slow movement of the film but the screenplay.
