Bad Timing: The setting is Vienna. A young American woman is brought to a hospital after overdosing on pills, apparently in a suicide attempt. A police detective suspects foul play on the part of her lover, an American psychology professor. As doctors try to save her life, the detective interrogates the professor, and through flashbacks we see the events leading up to the woman's overdose; her stormy and intensely sexual relationship with the professor, her heavy drinking and numerous affairs, and her estrangement from her Czech husband. A darkly erotic study of several rather unsympathetic characters. |

Like Some Of The Directors Other Films, This Is Dark, Off Beat & Sexual, Theresa Russell Really Makes This Work, A Great Watch!!

OH My GAUD! This Movie is So Slow. Made it an 1 and 15. Felt like 3. Did NOT want to see Garfunkel Naked. His Screwed up hair and eyes that look small and too close together didn't help. Nor his lack of acting that was Mellow with no feeling in it. Only reason I made it that far was Theresa Russell. She was Beautiful in this. This movie was so Boring, I couldn't use it to fall asleep with, it hurt to much to watch it.

They all looked so young and so fresh....and Garfunkel so expressionless it hurts.The movie could 've been easily 20-30 mins shorter and be less of a cigarette's commercial(one in every scene)...but Theresa Russell is a film in itself.....3/5.
