I just [finally] finished watching this movie, and am so glad that I did. It is wonderful, a period movie based upon a play performed in the 17th century. Magnificent! The period costumes were amazing, beautiful and accurate with all the splender and opulence of that era, and the gardens at the estate were breathtaking. The acting was quite good, but we would expect no less from the stars of this film. If you enjoy plays, and if you enjoy the baroque period I am pretty sure you will love this film. 8.5/10
